Inner Demons

ℭ𝔥𝔞𝔭𝔱𝔢𝔯 𝔈𝔦𝔤𝔥𝔱

I took his hand in mine, as we headed out of the basement before we could even hit the sun a huge bang sent the car flying across the road.

I lay on the road unconscious as the familiar feeling when a monster is nearby, came.

I needed to wake up.

The words, "come on.", kept repeating in my head.

The repeated thumping sounds indicated that it was the muscle monster, even worse.

The first thing I see is Hyun-soo getting flung back by the monster.

"I need you right now.", I said speaking to her.

"You called?", she said as I shifted into my monster form.

I was ten times smaller than it but I have faith in us.

Hyun-soo was trying to regain his energy as he rested in a pile of gravel, but then the muscle monster threw a concrete tube right at him.

Before it hit him we stopped it with our tentacle, letting him escape.

Feeling the burning sensation in our eyes she was using our telekinesis to stop the monster from moving as Mr. Ahn throws the molotov cocktail at it.

As we were stalling it, Mr. Ahn rushes over to Hyun-soo's side to help him up, abruptly Mr. Ahn's nose starts bleeding, which made me direct my eyes on him, letting the muscle monster out of my grip.

The monster using this advantage strikes us, as we were on the ground it repeatedly punches us until we were not able to stand, leaving Mr. Ahn and Hyun-soo vulnerable.

CHA HYUN-SOO'S POV:

The muscle monster beat Kyung-min to a pulp causing her to shift back into her human form.

The muscle monster then redirected his attention to us, making Mr. Ahn's nose stop bleeding.

Right in the nick of time, a firetruck came out of nowhere and pushed the muscle monster out of the way.

It was Yi-kyung.

Thinking it was over since she pushed it into the building, we were terrified when the monster started shaking the firetruck, ripping out the side door, breaking the glass.

All we could do was watch.

I quickly rediverted my attention to Kyung-min who was now unconscious.

As I limped my way there I could see the utility pole start to spark under a puddle of water, making me walk faster.

Just before the utility pole hits the water, I grab Kyung-min in my arms and leaped out of the vicinity of the explosion.

Before we entered, I quickly covered her body with my sweater.

YUN SEUL-KI'S POV:

We were operating on Ji-su and my task was to keep her on this earthly plane.

Abusing my power, I could not lose a good soul.

If my father heard about this, I might be kicked out of heaven, but no matter I could always live here.

Using all of my strength to get her through this, I almost fainted halfway through before I heard a big explosion.

"Kyung-min!", I yelled, all eyes were on me.

"Focus on Ji-su.", he said after she started to gag.

I quickly place my hands on Ji-su to try to keep her soul in her body, but my mind was still so worried for Kyung-min.
