---------------------- Kats pov
Once Becky had dropped us off at the bus stop we got a bus back to my house.
I fumbled for my key but we soon managed to get in.
Walking into the kitchen I found a note taped to the fridge.Hey honey. Your mother and I are going out for supper. We left £20 on the kitchen table for you to get supper with. Sorry for the short notice. xxx
I shrugged. At least I had twenty quid.
"Hey Sam, where are we going tonight?" I yelled as I walked upstairs to my bedroom.
"Nowhere too fancy. I thought the new Indian that just opened down the road? We could go somewhere different if you want." He shouted back from inside the bathroom. I said he could have a shower if he wanted.
"No that sounds brilliant!" I said, getting some clothes out for the date.
I found a clean pair of blue jeans and a black vest top for the hot weather.
I would fry in a long sleeved tee.
I flopped down on my bed, feeling totally exhausted from the days shenanigans.
I heard the shower turn off and Sam waltzed into my room in his boxers.
"Hey, I don't suppose I could borrow some of your brothers clothes. Mine are covered in grease."
I groaned.
"Cuddle. Then clothes." I demanded, pulling him down next to me and snuggling into his chest.
He have a chuckle.
"Come on. We need to go eat! My stomach is gonna explode from hunger!" He whined.
"Mine too but my legs are being uncooperative." I whined back.
"C'mon. We gotta get up." He dragged me to my feet and walked into the next room to retrieve some clothes.
I pouted but jumped up and walked downstairs. Grabbing my sleeveless puffer jacket I made sure I had my keys and my phone.
"Hurry up Samantha!" I hollered up the stairs.
"I'm coming!" I heard him yell back as he ran down the stairs.
We left the house and took the short walk into town to the restaurant.
"It's been an amazing day. Thanks for letting us hang out with you." Sam smiled at me.
"Nah, it's cool. You guys are our mates." I linked our arms.Soon we reached the Indian restaurant and the mouthwatering smell of curry hit me like a smack in the face.
"Table for two please." Sam nodded to the waiter as he showed us to a secluded spot next to a fish tank filled with exotic, colourful looking fish.
I removed my coat and put it on the back of my chair.
"Wow. This place is nice!" I gawped at the style of the building.
The walls had beautiful red and orange patterned wallpaper with large fishtanks to the side of the kitchen and the gentle sound of Indian music floated through the air.
We quickly ordered our starters and not so elegantly wolfed them down.
We took a bit more time with our main course, savouring it a bit more.
"Well thank god nothing bad has happened on this date. I swear every time I try and take you out something bad happens!" Sam joked.
"Careful. You'll jinx it otherwise!" I laughed.
As if fate had decided to be a whiney little bitch every time Sam and I got together my phone rang.
It was Jess.
"I am so sorry!" I said to Sam.
"This better be really important Jess or so help me I will smash your car up!" I hissed.
"Well ash got kidnapped and we just got a ransom note. Not sure if that counts." Jess said.
I felt my eye twitch.
"We'll be there in half an hour." I said and cut the call.
Sam looked up.
"Is everything ok?" He asked.
I didn't reply, I just hit my head against the table a few times.
"This is on you, we need to go." I quickly finished my food and dragged Sam up.
"What happened?" He asked, looking totally confused.
"I'll tell you on the way but we need to get to Jess's house pronto."
I pulled my wallet out and paid for the meal. I outright refused to let Sam pay for it after it went balls up.
"Basically ash has been kidnapped and the guys just got a ransom note. Y'know, the usual." I began to run towards my house, Sam easily keeping up. I vaguely heard him swear before I crashed into something solid making me wobble on the spot.
Sam caught me and steadied me.
I turned to look at who I had crashed into.
Oh great. Britney. With about 7 other girls.
I didn't have time for this.
"Well what do we have here? It's the little home wrecker. Careful girls, she'll take your boyfriends too!" She sneered at us.
"Nope! Just yours!" I smiled.
I grabbed Sam's shirt collar and crashed his lips onto my own.
"Mine now bitch!" I yelled and stuck my middle finger up at her before continuing to run.
"Nice one." Sam complimented as we continued to run.
"Thanks."
"Why do girls always travel in such large numbers?" He panted.
"I have no idea. It's probably a safety in numbers thing." I replied.
Soon we reached the house and jumped into the car. Racing as fast as we could to Jess's place.
