I woke up to a loud bang, i tied my robe and went to the kitchen to see if it was Von
He stood there with a bottle of hennessy "Fuck you looking at Nique?"
In many ways Von reminded me of my father, coming in at any hour drunk.. beating on my mother just because. It made my mother a drug addict
"Von come on you need to lay down, you drunk" I grabbed his arm but he instantly snatched away
"Ion need to do shit! get away from me before i smack yo ass" He pushed me causing me to stumble
"Von im tired of this shit fr! you not about to keep treating me like im a random ass bitch! im done" I went to the room to grab my things
I felt Von grip my neck with his hands "Fuck is you doing? yeen going no where Nique" he continued to squeeze his hands around my neck
"L-Let me go Von!" i stuttered he finally released and i fell to the floor. he kicked me a few times before walking out, tears rolled down my cheeks
I didn't usually cry but this time i needed to let it out
It was 7 in the morning and he was starting this shit

He sucked his teeth and walked out

I packed a few things in a bag and put everything in my trunk
I went to India's crib praying the rest weren't there, she opened the door half sleep "Mo what's wrong?" she knew something was up since they barely ever see me cry

I woke up on India's couch, i smelled cooking from the kitchen "Hey Mo" she said kissing my cheek
She sat down next to me on the couch handing me a plate of food "Now why did you pull up at 6 am crying Mo" she asked
