Today me and Rj was going to our appointment for the baby so i was a bit nervous

Knowing that Tae could also be the father was hurting me, i really wanted to use this opportunity to build some new with Rj

But i knew if he found out it wasn't his he wouldn't want to have anything to do with me

Rj decided to pick me up since i was pregnant and he didn't want me driving

He helped me into the car "Thank you" i said "Lets get this shit over with Jayda" I knew he had an attitude with me but i just wanted to be around him.

He lit up his blunt and played some music, his phone began to rang

"Yo? wassup mama you coo?" He spoke, i rolled my eyes knowing it was Monique

"Yeah im okay, can you stop and get some things for the house? i'll text you the list" Monique said over the phone

"I gotchu mama, you need anything else?" He asked her

"No thats all, did you make it to the appointment yet?" She asked

The bitch had the nerve, she was dumb as fuck for sticking beside a nigga who possibly had another baby on the way

"Nawl imma let you know when i do though, I love you Monique" He said to her

"I love you more Rashun" he hung up the phone

"Oh so you playing maid to her huh?" i said to him "Man Jayda shut that shit up, you could of had all of this if you would of been loyal so cut it out" he spoke

I rolled my eyes and sucked my teeth

Rashun was right but I didn't wanna admit that to him, he was my high school sweetheart and we could of had a long lasting relationship.. i took him for granted and i regret it..

We arrived to center and sat in the parking lot for a while, he threw his blunt out the window

"You ready?" he asked "Not really but we gotta get this over with" i said

He nodded and helped me out the car

We made it into the center "Hi i have an appointment today for 3:30, my name is Jayda Johnson" i spoke to the clerk

"Okay mama, head over to room 275 the doctor will be right with you" she smiled, i nodded and walked to the back

We sat in the room silently till the doctor arrived

"Hello Ms Jayda i'm doctor Sullivan, i heard your here for an paternity test?" He spoke

"Yes sir" I replied "Is this your husband or boyfriend here?" he pointed over at Rj

"Nawl, just a potential father" Rj said

I pouted hearing the doctor call Rj my husband, i wish we could of got to that stage

"So how she gone get the test if the baby hasn't arrived yet?" Rj asked the doctor

"Well sir she is getting an Noninvasive prenatal paternity, which means we'll be taking a blood sample from the both of you" He explained

"A Genetic profile compares the fetal cells that are present in Jayda's bloodstream to yours" The doctor continued as he wrote on his clipboard

Rj titled his head in confusion, i chuckled a bit looking over at him

"Ight" was all he said, i knew he didn't understand shit the doctor had just explained

"Alright lets start" The doctor insisted

After the procedure was finished the doctor came
back into the room

"Alright everything went well, the results may take 2-5 days to come back i'll give you a call when the results are ready"

"Okay thank you sir" i shook his hand "Thank you" Rj added

We walked back to the car and Rj instantly drove off "You wanna go back home?" He asked

I didn't really want to but i couldn't stay with him

"Yeah im tired anyways" I lied, he nodded and dropped me off home
