After my conversation with Rashun i decided to book an hair appointment with my sister .

We both had something in common which was doing hair, i wanted to grow a bond with her since i wasn't able to do that when we were younger

I pulled up to her shop which had big pink letters on the outside that said "Leah's Shop" In cursive

I went inside and she ran over to me with a big smile "Hey Monique!" she smiled batting her eyelashes

Her shop was very pretty, she had pink rug everywhere with pink & black wallpaper.. it definitely felt like a salon

"Hey Maleah, how have you been? i'm sorry i haven't been checking up on you lately.. i been busy with work" I explained

"Don't worry about it, i know you getting to the bag plus it takes time to build a bond" She said and i nodded

I felt bad that i couldn't be the big sister to her that she's probably always wanted, if my family wasn't so fucked up back then i would of been there

"Come on come sit so i can get started" She patted the seat and i sat down

She took my hair out of the bun that i had it in and pulled out all her hair supplies she needed to braid

"So anything fun happening in yo life?" She asked

"Not really, still around them crazy ass cousins of mines and i got a new man" i blushed a bit

"Who's he? he better be fine!" She playfully said

I handed her my phone showing her a picture of Rashun
