Chapter 19: Our Talk

-Shuuhei p.o.v-

The sound of water leaking from the walls and ceiling were rhythmic to a persons heart beat and the darkness only made me more calm and serene.

Although my room was dark and damp I concentrate best in here when I can't be by anyone else of course.

I heard soft knocking on my door and stood up from the green and black aged chair that stood in front of my widow, looking out to the havoc and chaos of hell itself.

"I, myself don't recommend shutting yourself completely out, you know."

I heard a strange but far military voice and I soon turned around, expecting to see a dark brown wall paper that coated my walls, to seeing a man.

He had ripped sleeves and his collar was ripped, he had serious eyes and he had a black line going over his once with a '69' on his cheek, his dark ominous eyes met mine. so long I haven't heard from this guy..

"It's better that way, closing people out from my emotions and just doing as I'm told."

I answered and the man had a sword at his hip, that looked a bit brittle.

"Shuuhei, there are times you can close out people, but from time to time and so long doing that, you can just break."

He said in the voice that was still partly familiar and gave question, after everything it's been so long since I've had these voices, that were somewhat positive.

"I learn to deal with it on my own, I have my own ways"

I muttered and our surroundings that were dark and muggy gave this man a ominous look as well, like I said I can't remember this man.

"How would your mother react to this if she found out you were trying to kill your younger brother?"

I heard from him and I gave a glare as I furrowed my brows to see him giving no expression, just eyes trying to look through me.

"She would obviously understand, but she's gone, along with my father, and I am just avenging her."

I said as I turned myself to face the door walking towards it

"I can't believe you're named after me, Kate was a weird one anyways."

He said and I stopped in my tracks and turned my head to look at him with a glare.

"Named after you, that means your name must be-"

"Shuuhei Hisagi, Yes"
