Chapter 22: The Poor Souls

"Mama, come on wake up!"

I felt as if my body were a giant weight that just wanted to stay in place all day, but I felt the taps on my back and shoulders from a little hand, and my shoulder being shaken more.

I slowly opened my eyes and saw that Misana had an adorable blue dress and black shoes on, and her brown eyes made me smile as she giggled, but was very anxious.

"Come on mama, Shuuhei is ready also but you said we could go to the park today!"

She said in a sad tone and I sat up, my covers shifted as I made my way to get out, and so Misana ran off downstairs as I could hear, while I put on a black pair of sweatpants and a blue jacket that buttoned up, I then walked back over to my dresser/vanity to brush my hair, my long bright red hair that went to my hips, and my hazel eyes that had a slight red to one of them, I don't know why but I feel like something isn't right, but that's just one of my hunches.

I then put my hair in a bun and put a black headband on as I walked out of my bedroom, making my way down the red halls and down stairs to see Shuuhei and Misana sitting in the living room laughing and talking, he's so much like his father, but at the same time he can be a teenage catastrophie. then Misana seems to calm him down at times, she just always has the need to help those around her, and that makes me a proud and happy parent of course.

"Alright, time for the park, lets go!"

I smiled, Shuuhei had a black shirt with jeans on, his shirt was a v neck with his collarbone showing a bit, and he had black and maroon looking shoes, he then took Misana's hand and walked towards the for smiling as I followed

"Alright mom!"

He laughed and my heart melted, his smile, it made me feel so loved when I see it, and when I stepped outside I saw the never changing sky, it never rained or anything but sunshine and at night it was the same, but only the moon was always a crescent, never a full moon or a half moon, or even a new moon.

"Mama, what's wrong?"

I snapped back into reality when I heard Misana looking up at me and Shuuhei looking at me as well, but I sort of feel like I've been asleep, when I go to sleep I sometimes get this feeling that I'm, drowning, only I'm not loosing breath, I'm loosing my soul.

And I'll hear the faint sounds of voices, calling for me, repeating, repeating, and as I lay there all I see is darkness, darkness that is consuming my soul, and in the darkness and all lost, I'll here sobbing, a young woman sobbing, I don't know why but it stops when she simply says.

"Come back, please."

"Mama, I'm playing on the swings now!"

I left my daze once again and smiled as I saw Misana run off and I saw Shuuhei playing basketball as I sat on the bench looking at both of them, what could be better than living this life with my children.

"It's a lie. Open your eyes idiot!"

I quickly turned my head and my eyes widened as I gazed at the most furious expression that made me stutter my words.

"D-Dom!"

I let out and I saw that her white hair was from long to short, up to her shoulders, and her dress turned into a dark red tank top and her pants were black jeans with black boots, she looked older if anything, but she had a hoodie on over the tank top and she had her hands in her pocket, while she had red eyes.

"Kate, get out of this stupid illusion, you have to get it together-"

She said then she stopped as I saw Misana and Shuuhei standing in front of me and Misana looked at Dom.
