cheering them on in a hidden crowd
displaying a diamond
you didn't work for
it was yours this whole time
displayed in a clear case
Everyone knew about
acting oblivious intentionally
one by one diamonds fall from the sky
for everyone except me
reach my hands up high
hoping a diamond falls
right in the center of my palm
everyone catches a diamond
at least once
my time is yet to come.
