am I sitting behind a screen
watching a scene from a movie?
is this empathy i'm feeling
for someone
I can't see anything
but a foggy blur
my bones rattle
my legs tremble
not long until i start running
or find a place to cry
thank her
and look her straight in the eye
things happen
but it feels like I'm the first.
