Eleanore Alice Longbottom, was born on 17 May 1982. Her mother, Alice, was still pregnant with her when the Lestranges and Crouch Jr tortured her to insanity with the use of the cruciatus curse. The curse affected unborn Eleanore as well, causing her to permanently become deafblind, unable to be healed with magic. However, she could sense magic and at age 4 she was using sign language and at age 7 she started speaking.
When her great uncle Algie dropped Neville out of the window, she got very angry and accidentally turned his hair into antlers.
She got sorted into Ravenclaw and befriended Astoria Greengrass, who she sat next to in Potions. She tormented Snape at every possible opportunity for how he treated Neville, but never got caught. She also befriended Mafalda Prewett.
