Their 'break' from each other lasted longer than they thought, not a single interaction was done; text, or personally.

It was over.

They were really over.

The friendship they thought would last forever actually ended.

Most people go their separate ways after just a few years of meeting their best friends whom they thought would stay, it's common. But for them, they both stayed. It was unlikely, but they did.

When you lose someone who's been with you through your darkest nights and gloomiest days for a long time, it feels like your world is crumbling apart slowly. Not only do you lose your beloved person, but also the memories that were made along the journey.

It feels like it's the end of the world.

The memories remain, but they're different now. They were once happy, and now it feels like it's history with a sad ending.

Perhaps not everyone gets a happy ending.

It was the worst that could happen, the words he said, he wished to take them back. They were both driven by the same anger and sorrow. The tension was so much that it exploded as the collected and hidden emotions scattered.

And when they scattered, you say and do the things you'll regret in the future.

He thinks about it and thinks that he was there, at any moment, he could've done something to change their fates.

But the universe forbids them.

Is this really their fate?

To grow and to wither?

Was it all good for nothing?

Tubbo sat on his bed side, thinking deeply-his face covered in scars and bruises.

His hurting was lesser when Tommy was around, but he just didn't want to depend on him. It felt like he was using him, he didn't want that.

He felt sorry.

He felt like he replaced his best friend.

It was his fault.

This was his fault.

There were unresolved issues between them, which sat and waited for the perfect time to burst. It was the final blow. He wanted to say so much, but he couldn't put it into words without making the situation worse.

That was what they get for setting their emotions and feelings inside, bottling it up, until it overflows on a surface that easily breaks.

His phone notifies a text from Ranboo, the phone shines brightly on his face as he got surrounded by the dim room. He ignored it, denying to interact. He was in fact not in the mood, right now, he just wanted to be alone to think straight.

Thinking about it, he felt regrets all over him.

Regret.

Guilt.

Shame.

"Will it really end here?" Tubbo asks himself, tears streaming down his face as his cheeks felt like they're burned. "I don't like it like this, this is-no..."

If only he had just admitted what he really thought, what he really wanted. It was like he wanted this to happen. If only he knew how to voice out what he really means, if only he wasn't scared and dragged to the rough ground by his own fears.

It was never really his intention.

It felt like an excruciating pain that stabbed his heart with a million poisonous daggers. His heart bled out, attachment issues sucks.
