Jealousy, jealousy

It was 11 AM, Tommy received no response from Tubbo still. And he isn't replying to his messages too. Tommy just left the call where Dream was because he said he was going to take a break. He saw Ranboo's discord profile with the Idle status, he wanted to ask him if he knew where and what Tubbo was doing, but he backspaced. He wanted to ask him, he really did, but a side of him doesn't want to. He didn't wanna feel like he was interrupting something. His sides argued on whether he should message him or not.

Anxiety swirled around his mind harshly, he thought of what Ranboo would respond with, whether he was gonna say something rude or awkward, or instead respond with something nice.

After thinking if he should ask him for a while, he finally had the confidence to do it. He pressed the enter button with his shaky finger, still backing off, but out of force, he pressed enter.

"heyyy ranboo, do you know where tubbo is?"

Tommy fidgeted with his fingers, he tapped them on his desk repeatedly as it progressively got louder. He waited for Ranboo's response as butterflies appeared in his stomach, he regretted sending the message, he wanted to delete it. He moved his arm and reached for his mouse and proceeded to delete the message, but as soon as he was about to, he saw 3 dots appear on the lower-left corner of his screen, it was Ranboo who was typing.

As he watched and waited for his response, he instantly thought of the possible things that he'll say.

"No sorry, quite busy right now."

"Why are you asking me like I know?"

"Can you not? I literally don't know where he is, I'm trying to answer my homework."

There was so much that he can say, it would be a really bad first impression if he accidentally bothered him.

Ranboo finally replied after waiting.

"oh yeah, he's playing with me right now- wanna join?"

Tommy stopped dead as he stared at his monitor.

He wasn't shook about whether Ranboo was gonna reply with something rude or not, he was shook because they've been playing for hours, yet they didn't invite him until he sent Ranboo a message. He read what ever the fuck Ranboo just told him repeatedly, still being in denial that Tubbo did this.

Anger and jealousy shot his chest harshly. He was angry, yet he didn't want to express it. Tubbo has been his friend ever since they we're kids, the only thing that he feared was losing him.

It haunted him, until this day. No, not the tiktok videos, but the fight he had with Tubbo 5 years ago.

-----

"I can't believe you'd say mean things behind my back." Tubbo sniffed.

"No.. Tubbo-" Tommy tried to stop, "I didn't mean it-"

"Then why- why would you say mean things about me to Jack when you didn't mean it, Tommy?" Tubbo looked away, he didn't want to remain eye contact at this time.

Tommy couldn't speak, he was too afraid to. He was just a bit angry with Tubbo, but he didn't intend to hurt him.

"I really didn't mean it, I'm sorry Tubbo." Tommy apologized, looking at Tubbo who tried to hold back his tears, but gave in eventually. He felt bad, really really  bad. He never wanted to tell Tubbo in the first place, but he didn't know that Tubbo knew already.

Tubbo just cried, he got angry and felt kind of down. He was angry because Tommy kept secrets from him, and felt down because Tommy said mean things about him. He felt like 7 years of being friends with Tommy was enough, maybe it's time to take a break from each other.
