Chapter 8: I Want You To Live. Cure Lapis is Born

               It's been 2 days after the Gattaiju attack at school, in the gymnasium, Class 1-A were building the props and decorations, while Class 1-B were making the costumes for the Cinderella charity play. Momoka and Kira were making the wand and the wings for the props of Fairy Godmother. Akari is helping some students make the Pumpkin Carriage. While Viola is helping to make the decorations for the Ball scene. Midori is sewing the costumes of both the Prince and Cinderella. Rinna was almost finished making the Glass Slippers but she was a bit sad about what happened yesterday. Outside the gymnasium, Pinky and the other fairies are in their human forms except Azula watching Momoka and her friends at the window unnoticed. Azula is still feeling bad about Rinna as she doesn't want to transform into Precure due to her hesitation and still having daddy issues with her father that hardly sorted out of her mind. She wanted to help Rinna, but she's been avoiding Azula since yesterday as she doesn't want to be involved with Precure. Even though Azula knew that Rinna still brought her PreCure Heart Cards as it was still her lucky charms. During their lunch break, Rinna is still feeling down even eating together with Akari and Midori, her childhood friends. At dismissal time, Ms. Seki and Ms. Nishizawa announced that they're in a 25% Completion for the Cinderella Charity Play, and they have 10 days left to accomplish so they have some plenty of time to get it done. As everyone is heading home besides Momoka and friends, Rinna is waiting for her limo and still feeling disappointed about herself. Momoka tells her that it wasn't her fault and she doesn't have to feel bad for them as they already forgave her. Even Pinky and the other fairies forgave her as well. Rinna feels a little better after all they already forgave her, Azula was glad that Rinna smiled slightly. As Rinna's limo arrives, she tells them that there's no need to worry about her, and leaves. Inside the limo, her reliable butler Fred was happy that Rinna is making more friends to comfort her, but Rinna tells him that there's only one problem left to sort out, which is her issues between her father. In Rinna's mansion, her father is still busy as usual but she had slight determination to tell him about the Cinderella Charity Play that her school is preparing, and she wanted to invite her father to see it. However, her father is on deaf ears and focuses on his laptop. As her father was about to ask about what she just said, Rinna ran upstairs and never said a word with a few tears shed out her sad eyes. Her father had no idea what her problem was, but Fred tells him that there's something that he couldn't understand. In her bedroom, Rinna is still crying in her bed while Azula can barely bear to see her crying so she goes beside her and tries to cheer her up. Rinna thanks Azula for trying to cheer her up, however it won't be enough that father doesn't even listen or care about her at all. She wished that her mother would come back home from London but it wasn't that easy. Rinna missed her mother so much as she cares about her more than her father. The next day, in the school's gymnasium, all their actors and actresses are trying to fit their costumes if they're perfect for them. Everyone seems to like their costumes, Rinna feels like a princess when wearing her Cinderella Ball Gown. As Momoka is wearing her Prince costume, she looks cool in that suit. Kira loves the Fairy Godmother costume. Viola, Akari, and Midori's costumes were pretty and suitable for their roles.

               At the window, Pinky and the other fairies loved their costumes and they were anticipating seeing the Cinderella Charity Play in a few days. But none of them is happier than Azula seeing Rinna fully smiled now. After seeing her smile, her bond between Rinna is growing bit by bit. Pinky and the other fairies are seeing a glimpse of her human form but not fully. But still, they also knew that their bond was going strong. Now their costumes are almost complete, Momoka and her friends proceed to help with the props and decorations. As days rolled by, both Class 1-A and Class 1-B were 90% finishing the set and memorizing their scripts for the Cinderella Charity Play as it begins in 3 days. Kira and Midori had managed to make the invitations for their parents and every kid in the Community Center. Momoka and her friends were glad to invite their parents to see them perform in the play, even though they got embarrassed. Rinna however, was a bit concerned about inviting her father to see the play but she knows that he's always busy at his work and doesn't get sidetracked that easily. In the evening, at Rinna's mansion, she was about to give the invitation to his father and her father paid attention to her but he refused as his conference starts early the same day of their Charity Play, so he might not make it to see it. As Rinna was sadly disappointed, she threw the invitation at the bin and ran upstairs to her room, and never came back down tonight. Hours later, Fred and her trusted Maid named Alicia came to her room with her prepared dinner. They both felt sorry that her father refused the invitation after she and her friends worked so hard preparing the play. She thanks them for bringing her home, and as they leave, Azula goes out from hiding and feels sorry that her father won't come to see her perform. 2 Days before the Charity Play, Momoka and her friends were shocked that her father refused the invitation, and Rinna was badly disappointed about it. Kira is concerned that Rinna might be the only one who didn't have a parent to be invited. Truthfully, Rinna doesn't care anymore and they all proceed to class. Rinna shortly had a hard time to focus, as she's still thinking about her father's refusal since last night. But she managed to focus on the entire class session in the end. At the gymnasium, Momoka and her friends along with other students are taking their final fitting of their costumes, as tomorrow will be their last practice before their real performance this weekend. Before they left, both Ms. Seki and Ms. Nishizawa wanted to congratulate them for their hard work preparing the Cinderella Charity Play. As their reward, they earn some sliced cakes from Kirakira Patissiere. The entire Class 1-A and Class 1-B enjoyed their sliced cakes and thanked their advisors. As the dismissal bell rang and everyone was heading home, Momoka was pumped so early as she was ready for the Charity Play this weekend but they knew that it was a bit early for that. Akari and Midori wanted to ask Rinna if she's going to be okay without her father watching, and she replied: "I'm not sure, but I don't care anymore". As her limo and Viola's van arrived waiting for them to pick up, both Rinna and Viola waved goodbye and prepared for their last practice tomorrow. After they left, Momoka, Kira, Akari, and Midori walked home and needed some rest to prepare for their last practice tomorrow as well. At Dark Crozz Castle, Urzula is watching Horace and Jazper playing the retro 8-bit video games and they keep on losing to Sheen, 5 times in a row now. As they go for a sixth time, Seth comes in to interrupt their competitiveness and orders Sheen to gather fear and despair this weekend. As Seth left, Sheen will be honored to start his first gathering as the new member of Neo Fusion Empire. Urzula, Horace, and Jazper were happy for him, even though at the same time, they slowly felt like they were replaced but they didn't get their hopes up though.
