Chapter 9: All Six Together. The Search of a Hideout

               At Momoka's house, in her bedroom, she and all her friends gathered together to celebrate the "Welcome to the Team" Party for Kira, Akari, Viola, Midori, and Rinna; along with their fairies, of course. All the six of them were happy and excited but a bit concerned if they can handle the pressure as Precures. Momoka told them that they can manage it, as long as they work together as a team. Pinky and the other fairies were wondering about having a hideout of their own, as they are worried that there is no space for them as they're in their fairy forms for a long time period and they wanted to stay in their human forms. Speaking of human forms, Rinna announced to them that Azula got her human form last night. Azula shows it to them as she transforms into her human form for the first time. They were all surprised how cute she was and Azula changed back to her fairy form. As their fairies wanted to have their hideout, Momoka decided to search for a good hideout tomorrow morning. So they better pack some snacks, beverages, and some stuff they need for their new hideout as it might take a whole day to search for a hideout. Of course, they all asked permission of their parents for them to find a fun hideout; they accepted their permission as it was intriguing since they already became friends. Next morning, at the park, they all gathered up together to begin their search for a good hideout. Their first suggestion is that the unused storagehouse came from Rinna's father's company but it was too big for a good hideout. Next of their suggestion is near the beach but it was a bit risky when a tsunami struck, so another suggestion has been declined. As they moved on to their next suggestion, Momoka got bumped into someone. Momoka bumped into Hoshizora Miyuki (as Cure Happy) along with her friends: Hino Akane (as Cure Sunny), Kise Yayoi (as Cure Peace), Midorikawa Nao (as Cure March), and Aoki Reika (as Cure Beauty), also Candy of course. Pinky and the other fairies recognized Candy as one of their señior fairies. Candy was shocked that she was immediately recognized, Miyuki and her friends were also surprised as well. As they went to a hiding place for them to avoid in public, Momoka and her friends told them that they're Precures, but Miyuki and her friends already knew about it, as Yayoi told them (Which is that Yayoi was there that time in Chapter 2). Then, Miyuki is asking them about the bags they're carrying, as she has a hunch that they're moving somewhere. Akari wanted to say it's classified but Momoka spilled the beans that they're searching for a good hideout. Miyuki, Akane, Yayoi, Nao, and Reika start to giggle and laugh as Momoka and her friends are confused from what they're saying. Miyuki told them that it reminds them of the time when they're searching for a good hideout before. Momoka and her friends were shocked and surprised that it had happened to them before. With her curiosity, Momoka asked Miyuki how they found their hideout. Miyuki told Momoka and her friends to follow them to the public library. Inside the public library, at the furthest isolated section, Miyuki and her friends showed Momoka and her friends a secret. By moving the books in the right order, a portal reveals and they all went inside the portal together. At Dark Crozz Castle, Seth is ordering Sheen to start his second gathering of fear and despair. So Sheen gets the crystallized Cure Gelato and Cure Beat PreCure Heart Cards and leaves to gather fear and despair for the second time.

               Miyuki and her friends along with Momoka and her friends have arrived at their hideout in the Magical Library. Pinky and the other fairies were surprised how beautiful the Magical Library was; even Momoka and the others were amazed with awe. Miyuki gave them a tour of their hideout. In the meantime, Pinky and the other fairies are playing with Candy while Momoka and her friends are on a tour. Momoka was curious how they found the Magical Library; Miyuki explained that it was the time when she discovered it by accident and sheer luck and it was that she's searching for Candy. As they ended the tour, Yayoi forgot to tell Momoka and her friends about something, which is making a catchphrase and team pose. Seems that they are six Precures, surely it will be a good opportunity to have a catchy catchphrase and a perfect team pose. However, both Akari and Midori don't seem to be that interested. But Viola and Rinna wouldn't mind while Kira and Momoka agreed and were excited. With several attempts to think of a catchphrase and their team pose, it doesn't feel right for Momoka and her friends; until they run out of ideas. When they put that aside, they wanted to continue their search for their hideout, so Miyuki and her friends taught them how to use the bookshelf as a shortcut for transportation. Kira thought that the old observatory could be a great hideout, unfortunately the place has many holes and the telescope is unusable. Viola thought an old studio building would be good as their hideout, but it would be a risk of demolition. When they all are about to call it quits, Momoka has one last option left as she hadn't thought of a place yet. As they're about to Momoka's place, Pinky and the other fairies sense that the Gattaiju has been summoned. So they have to put their hideout search to a halt, as they have to deal with the Gattaiju first. Sheen has managed to gather some fear and despair thus far, and as the Gattaiju (Half Akanbe/Half Hoshina) was about to continue gathering, until Momoka and her friends arrived to stop it, while Miyuki and her friends watched them on the sideline. Momoka, Kira, Akari, Viola, Midori, and Rinna transformed into their Precure forms and revealed their catchphrase: "Let our Hearts Connect! The Warriors of Light! Fusion Hearts Precure!" and show their spectacular team pose. Sheen is surprisingly impressed but shortly orders the Gattaiju to attack them. Cure Rosa and Cure Lapis punches the Gattaiju at the front; Cure Amber and Cure Violet kicks on its sides; while Cure Crimson and Cure Lime sweeps the legs and the Gattaiju falls to the ground. Miyuki and her friends kept on cheering for Cure Rosa and her team, Sheen just had enough as he charged towards them to be destroyed. Verda immediately told Cure Lime to use her new form. Midori opens the Hearty Fusion Pact and slides both Cure Mint and Cure March cards and shouted: "Lets Go! Precure! Fusion Heart!". She flicks her hair, a strong wind blowing through her and jumps as the both powers from Cure Mint and Cure March unite to her and transform into Cure Lime: "Green Heart of Heartful and Tranquility. YesSmile! Cure Lime!". Cure Lime zooms to stop Sheen and kicks him back near his previous position. Nao was surprised that she has her power. Not only does she have one of the Smile Precure powers, Cure Amber has Cure Peace's power, while Cure Crimson switched to her YesSmile Form as it has Cure Sunny's power. However, Cure Lapis and Cure Rosa didn't have Cure Happy and Cure Beauty PreCure Heart Cards yet. The Gattaiju stood up, Cure Lime knocked it back with March Shoot (Attack from Cure March in Smile Precure!). The Gattaiju shoots dark energy blasts at Miyuki and her friends until Cure Lime quickly protects them with Emerald Saucer (Defense/Attack from Cure Mint in Yes! Precure 5 GoGo!). After that blast, she used Emerald Saucer as a huge throwing disc and stuns the Gattaiju from two attacks from Cure Lime. Cure Amber binds it with her Prism Chains and Cure Crimson tells Cure Lime to defeat the Gattaiju.

               Cure Lime combines Cure March Cure Decor and Protect Fleuret into March Protect Decor Fleuret and unleashes her finisher: "March Emerald Rose Explosion!". After the Gattaiju were defeated and Sheen already left, Azula sensed two crystallized PreCure Heart Cards, so Rinna purified the crystallization and retrieved Cure Gelato and Cure Beat PreCure Heart Cards. When the battle already ended, they proceeded their search for a hideout, as Momoka hadn't shown her option yet. So they went back to the Magical Library and Momoka opened a portal to her optional hideout. As they all went to the other side, they're inside of an old shack and had no idea what Momoka's planned hideout was. But as they all went outside, everyone was speechless and smiled with awe as it is a massive flower garden and a lake. Momoka told them that the old shack with a water mill belonged to her grandparents, which was abandoned as her grandparents, who were mother's parents, passed away 5 years ago. They all shed a tear from that short story and officially decided that her grandparents' old shack will be their hideout. Momoka wanted to cherish her grandparents' old shack by cleaning up the mess and giving it a makeover. With Miyuki and her friends to help them out, they managed to clean up the mess and decorated the whole shack with their likings. Few hours later, they fully decorated the old shack as their official hideout. Before Miyuki and her friends leave, Momoka wanted them to join their celebrational party as a thanks for helping them find their hideout. Everyone is enjoying and having fun as they are all having a great party together. As the sun set and everyone went back to Pokapoka Town, Miyuki and her friends left and waved goodbye to Momoka and her friends, also giving them a best of luck defeating Velgar and Neo Fusion Empire; and surely they will do their best. At night, at the lake in the park, Gai is playing Orbnica peacefully until Juggler arrives out of the shadows to see his old friend and eternal rival. Gai wasn't expecting to see Juggler in Pokapoka Town while he thought the same thing to Gai too. Juggler asks Gai how long he will help Momoka and her friends to defeat Velgar when he returns. Gai replied to him that as long as it takes, only one member remains and she hasn't shown herself yet. After that reply, Juggler told him that we'll never know and doesn't even care and left without a trace. On the top of the hill, a girl with her white fairy partner is almost ready to make their appearance. But that girl doesn't seem to be a team player and won't get along with Momoka and her friends. However, her fairy knew that she would soon learn the value of teamwork and friendship. Before they leave, she shortly takes a look at her PreCure Heart Cards which are silhouetted from the moonlight and cannot be revealed yet. Momentarily, she heard Gai playing his Orbnica again, which means she can still hear it near the park. Soon, the seventh Precure will make her appearance.
