The rest of the day was long and boring, soon it was the time for drinking the potion.
"Ready?" I whisper to the girls, Snitch and Kitty who are holding little glasses of the potion, same as me.
"Ready." We say at the same time, Moony slightly nervous she got it wrong.
M- what if I did get it wrong?!
Moony you're a genius, you wouldn't get it wrong, now let me get back to the story. We down the potion, grimaceing at the absoloutly foul taste.
"Did it work?" Kitty asks unsure.
"Well, there's only one way to find out! Test it!" Snitch exclaims.
"How?" I question them.
"Well, it says in this book to just think about changing." Moony informs us.
"Here goes nothing." I say and close my eyes, thinking of a pretty red fox. When I open my eyes I see the whole world at a different perspective.
"Oh my god! It worked!" Moony squeals. The other girls concentrate on becoming their animals and it works! I yip in excitement, hmmm, so that's what the fox says... You're welcome.Moony looks like she's going to spontaneously combust from all the excitement, so I change back and decide we should pull a prank.
"We need to pull a prank."
"Who?" Snitch changes back
"Hmmm... Well this guy named Eric made fun of my hair..." Kitty tells us devioiusly.
"Eric it is! What should we do?" I start forming a plan in my head.
"We should do something to his hair!" Snitch suggests.
"Yes! And his eyebrows!" I pull out my secret stash of incredibly important things (you know such as cereal, prank supplies and some random junk I've collected over the years.)I pull out a bottle of that muggle shaving potion you put on your legs so you don't have to shave with a razor.
"Perfect..." I mutter to myself.
Next I pull out a blowhorn, smirking to myself I realize we need disguises... Hmmm...
"What can we do for disguises?" I ask the group.
"Well I can change my hair color." Moony says.
"I have colored contacts?" Snitch suggests
"And I could use a hat?" Says kitty.
"OK then, but what should I do?" I ask them.
"Oh! I've got the perfect idea!" Snirtch runs over to her bed and pulls out a thing of makeup.
"Let's get to work!" Kitty claps happily.
"Oh god..." I mutter to myself as Moony sits me down on a chair.A little while later it's 12 and I have cat eyeliner, red lips and look very different. (Outfit on top) we all look different, kitty has on a cute cat eared hat with her hair tucked inside it, Snitch now has bright blue eyes and has her hair in a ponytail, and Moony now has bright blonde hair and green eyes, we all look great.
Sneaking out of the Slytherin dorms we go to the Hufflepuff dorm, which was incredibly easy to get into, all you had to do was compliment a picture of a honey badger. (No idea if that's true, I just made it up). Judging by the snores coming from the dorms, everyone is sound asleep. I wave the girls in and we slather the stuff onto his hair and eyebrows, four minutes later Eric Benson has no hair or eyebrows. Next I grab the blowhorn and yell at him,
"UP AND AT 'EM BOYS!" That makes him sit straight up in his bed,
"Who the heck are you?!" He shouts, his dormates look absoloutly shell shocked not saying anything.
"Pleasure to meet you too Eric, we are the Masquerades!" I say dramatically "make sure to tell your friends!" With that we all walk dramatically out.Once we get back we collapse on our beds in fits of exhausted laughter,
"That... Was...hilarious!" Snitch laughs
"Did you see his face!" Kitty impersonates, causing us to laugh even harder.
"Alright, we need sleep if we don't want to seem suspicious tomorrow!" Moony tries to hold vback her giggles.
With that we all giggle silently and take off our disguises.
"Night guys!" I turn off the light once the giggles have subsided.I vcant wait to see what Eric says tomorrow! Oh! The joy of gossip!
