10 flipping seconds changed everything.
"Attention class we have a new student from Baltimore." Mrs I Don't Know said. You know I still never found out her last name.
"This is Matthew Perkins." I stare at his beautiful green eyes. But I've seen them before. Where was he from? Baltimore?
"Mr. Perkins why don't you take a seat next to Miss Spencers." my heart basically jumped out of my chest. All the girls loo at me evil and with hungrey envied eyes. I don't know why but I smiled at them. Through class I feel like someone staring at me but its probably just the girls. I look and it isn't them.
Its Matthew.
"Hi I'm Matt." he smiles a grin that I find so familiar. "Have we met before?" he asks. " You look familiar." What do I say? There's no way he knows me. But I think I know him.
"I don't think so."
He turns away.
"But my name us Gwen."
He smiles.
And for some reason it makes me feel safe.
