''From this time till the end of time we are not part of your realm we are free and independent kingdom of the north.' Cersei ripped up the letter, the peace treaty. 'He has more spirit than his father I will give him that.' she remarked.

'You have become quite effective at tearing up papers.' Tyrion remarked 'we can give him his fathers bones back at least a gesture of good faith.''

''Will you give the Starks our reply cousin?' Cersei asked.

''I will your Grace.' Alton Lannister replied.

Sasha didnt know what Joffrey did all day as king. Cersei and Tyrion ran the meetings with the council, Joffrey seemed to be bossing around everyone uselessly. Which meant sandor was busy following him around.

Sasha thought she would hate the capital but she loved the capital, every morning Cersei came into Sasha's chambers or summoned her into her own to fix her make up. Make her look presentable. She had gotten used to the almost hour in the chair as Cersei did  her hair and makeup covering up her imperfections.

They talked about Jaime, about the children, Cersei asked if any suitors were lined up for herself and Sasha said no every time.

Sasha was quite a few years younger then tyrion but there was no love between tywin and her mother. It was business. But being born a woman she knew that she should have been wed by now. There need not be love to have a marriage.

When sasha was born little spotted scars on her face chest up her neck tywin decided no more fucking children. His first two were perfect. Tyrion was a little beast and now little sasha... but he grew to love Sasha in a way he could never love Tyrion.

Tywin had tried to set up unions but no man wanted his Sasha. They came and spoke to him about unions acting the part, for the lannister name was prestigious but then Tywin introduced a nervous little Sasha and he saw the men flinch back. Tywin wouldnt force Sasha to marry a man that couldn't even look at her. He sent them all away and Sasha was grateful for it.

Now that Sasha was in love with Sandor, possibly the only man that her family would object to she knew that her scars were a blessing. No one wanted her, she wouldnt be forced to marry, Lannister or not. They wouldnt look at her face and see the imperfections not her kind heart because the world was skin deep.

'Did you see my brother? When you were the Starks guest?' cersei added. She held to Sasha's hand. Sasha liked being invited to council meetings, since they were getting word from Robb's camps they had hoped to have word of Jaime and Cersei invited her to sit in. It made her feel like her voice mattered.

"'I did.'' Alton admitted 'they have not broken his spirit your grace.''

''If you speak with him... Tell him he has not been forgotten.'' Cersei told her cousin.

''I will your grace.'

''Safe travels cousin.' Tyrion added "you have a deft hand with diplomacy.''

'If that's everything?' cersei offered getting up.

''A raven flew in this morning from Castle Black.' the maester corrected and she took her seat again, holding back a groan. ''Trouble with the wildlings.'

'That's why they're called wildlings.' Petyr remarked

'Some of the wildlings it seems have stopped killing each other and started following this king beyond the wall.' varys added.

''Another King.' Cersei remarked 'how many is that now? Five? I've lost count.''

"It is a lot... a king in every corner now it seems." Sasha agreed.
