he stared into her eyes but she got lost in his
he loved hearing her talk but she replayed the sound of his voice like it was her favourite song
he did anything to make her smile and she only wanted to see his one more time
he longed for her touch and she would melt in his arms
he loved hearing her laugh but she dreamt of his even during the day
he called her beautiful but all she ever wanted was to hear her name after the words i love you
he fell first, but she loved him all along
they seemed so perfect
but he gave her love she could not feel
and she loved him in a way he could not understand
