Chapter Seven: Alexis's Dilemma

Filip's POV
"Alright boys, let's go out there and have fun. And remember to always do your best out there" Shea said.
We all nodded and skated out onto the ice, our fans screaming in joy and excitement. A few minutes later, the game was beginning.

(after the first period)

Alexis's POV
As much as I wanted to watch the game, which was going very well so far. The Preds were playing the San Jose Sharks and the score was 2-1.
But, I was a little distracted.
Why? Because I have a huge dilemma.
It involves Filip and Roman.
I'm trying to decide which one I should date. Filip has been my best friend for years, he knows everything about me.
He's comforted me when I had my first heartbreak. Filip's always been there for me. And then there's Roman.
He's really caring, funny and humble, like Filip. He's given me really great advice in the past. I ran a hand through my hair and sighed.
What's a girl to do?

(after the game)

Shea's POV
We beat the San Jose Sharks 6-1.
The team headed back to the locker room to change. When we got there, Alexis was sitting on one of the benches with her head in her hands.
"Lexi, what's wrong?" James asked.
"I have a pretty big dilemma, and I don't know how to fix it" She replied.
"Do you wanna tell us what it is?" Pekka asked gently. "I'd rather not. This dilemma involves two of the members on this team" She replied blushing. James smirked, but didn't say anything. "Can I sleep in yours and Pekka's room tonight? I can't go back to my room" Alexis asked while playing with her fingers. "Sure, just grab your clothes and stuff first" I replied.
She smiled gratefully at me.
Then she walked over to Filip and whispered something in his ear.
Filip had a small smile on his face after.

(At the hotel)

Alexis's POV
I sighed as I plopped down on the daybed in Shea and Pekka's room.
"Ok, can you tell us what your dilemma is?" Shea asked.
"I will, but please don't tell anyone" I replied. They nodded. I told them all about my dilemma with Fil and Josi.
"Wow, this is quite the problem" Shea said. I nodded, playing with one of my fingers nervously. "Well, Lexi, just follow your heart" Pekka said shooting me a warm smile. I got up and hugged Pekka. Ever since I met the Preds, Pekka's been super nice to me.
He's like a second dad to me . I can tell him everything, and I know he won't tell anyone.
"Your welcome" He said letting out a light chuckle. I smiled and pulled away. I plopped back down on the daybed and snuggled deep under the soft blanket. "Good night Lexi" Pekka said softly. "Good night Peks, good night Webs" I said as my eyelids drooped. And soon, I was fast asleep.
