Alexis's POV
I felt tears streaming down my cheeks as I waved goodbye to James, Shea, Colin, Seth, Pekka, everyone. The hockey season ended, which meant that everyone could go home and see loved ones. It was now April, and the Preds 2014-2015 season ended on a sad note. The Preds had lost to the Chicago Blackhawks in the playoffs, which sucked.
But, I knew when the Predators came back, they would be better than ever. I kissed Filip goodbye, as he was going back home to Sweden. I was going to miss him the most, definitely. He promised me we would FaceTime and text every day, which made me feel a little better. And then in a few minutes, I was alone. I sniffled and walked to the terminal where my flight was. Man, I was going to miss the team. I had the best time with them on the road. We had lots of movie nights and stayed up late at night just talking.
Sure, it was sad to see my boyfriend and my best friends leave me, but I knew the memories I had with them would be with me forever. I sat back in my chair, letting the tears fall, but I had a small smile on my face.
Those past few months were the best.
A/N: The next chapter is going to be full of tons of memories from the few months that they were on the road. It's going to be pretty long, so if you like long chapters, be sure to check out that one:) Anyway, I'm so sorry I didn't update this fanfic for a few months. School started up again and I've been trying to keep up my grades. And then, I had my other fanfics to update, and yeah. So, like I said, the next chapter will be long.
