The Bet

I did as I told the guys I would do I grabbed a single purple rose and got her a strawberry banana smoothie and got there just in time for her class to be getting out and she looked beyond shocked to see me there and even blushed a bit.
L- what are you doing here
C- I wanted to see you
L- you saw me two hours ago
C- I know but I wanted to see you again and not wait til tomorrow
L- haha ok well that's very sweet
C- also these are for you
L- now your question as to what kind of drinks I like makes sense
C- ok you should've known I had something up my sleeve for that one
L- I should've yes but it's still a sweet gesture thank you and thank you for the rose I really like that you found a purple one for me
C- it wasn't easy but I'm glad I was able to find it and make you smile with it
L-  you'd make me smile even without all this you know
C- I do know now haha
L- ok
C- so how was practice
L- it went well
C- would you ever show me your skills or dance with me
L- I'm sure you have a good shot at me dancing with you
C- would that chance be now
L- if you want it to be
I smiled and found a slow song and it turned out to be ready to fall by Joey fatone and I played it and me and her danced in the middle of the parking lot and we moved together really well and I've had my fair share of partner dances and even with those who are dancers already I never moved well with them so quickly so I don't understand how it's happening that way with her. We danced to four more songs some of them being quicker paced songs and still we moved well. When the last song came to an end I leaned against my car and so did she and we talked more and more. It started to get late so I offered to take her home so she didn't have to walk and when we got to her house I walked her to the front door and as I said goodnight to her I kissed her on the cheek which made her smile and blush and scurry in the house to try to hide the blush I'm guessing. I laughed and left and went back to my house and when I got there I saw I had a text from her.
L- hope you got home safely
C- I did thanks for checking on me
L- you're welcome
C- so do you have practice tomorrow
L- no why
C- would you like to come over and watch some Star Wars
L- sure :)
