All week long I've done my best to keep to my self and both bother Lauren and in my free time I practiced the song to make sure I had it perfect. Thankfully I got the guys to agree to go with me and right now we're all getting ready at daltons house as kylee has the girls all over cause they're all helping each other get ready and I'm assuming taking pictures as well. When we got to the school we found a spot in the corner where we'd go unseen cause Lauren can't know I'm here til it's time for the song. It wasn't long after we sat down that I saw Lauren and the girls come in and there are no words to describe her beauty she's just perfect! I watched as she danced with the girls smiling and laughing and just having a good time all around which made me question should I really go through with this

C- she looks so happy I don't know if I can ruin that
G- why are you so sure you'd ruin that
C- just seeing me would kill it I'm sure
Dal- it's not like you plan on going up to her with some line you'll be singing to her
W- singing the song that you two first danced to the song that has a special meaning to you two
Dav- you're proving how much she means to you in front of everyone it will be ok you just gotta go for it
Dana- plus let's not forget kylee and the girls got her here they agreed to help you so don't blow it by letting your thoughts make you chicken out

I got up and made my way to the dj to talk with him and see if and when it would be possible if I took over for a song and he told me I could take over in 5 minutes and my god were the nerves taking over like crazy! I took a deep breath and stayed near so I was ready but also stayed hidden so she still couldn't see me! As I watched her I couldn't help but smile and think about how much I hope this works cause I love her so much I want to be able to dance with her again I want to be able to hold her again I want to be the one to cause her to smile like that again.
Dj- hey man do you have the music you plan to use
C- yeah
I handed him my phone once I got the music pulled up in which he made an announcement letting everyone know there was going to be a special performance from a student then he'll be back before hitting play and handing me the mic. Once the music started I looked over at Lauren and she was just frozen and tense and slowly turned around to look at me as I started singing. Oh boy here we go!
