You were really excited you had just scored big time. That morning you were excited to get started at your new job. You would be working for the hero of the town.
After a couple of interviews and a really long curriculum vitae, you had finally got some work. Your mum had been pestering you a lot about doing something with your spare time instead of just sitting around, there was nothing wrong with some extra income.
You walked into the new place where you'd be working and it had a couple of people already there.
"Hey you!" You heard someone say. It was a tall woman older than you dressed in the uniform of the place.
"You must be Y/n, I'm Lydia." She stretched out her hand to greet you and you shook it just slightly nervous. "Hello." You finally said something.
She then started walking towards the back and indicated you to follow. You reached a place with some lockers and one had your name on top of it. "You can put you stuff in here." She pointed to the locker and handed you a bag. "Get dressed in those then I'll give you a tour and we can get started."
You wore the uniform which wasn't exactly to your liking but you couldn't just quit cause of the dress code.

You walked out and found Lydia waiting for you.
"You look nice." She complimented and started walking ahead. You tried to keep up with her long strides as best as you could. She showed you the spin and win machines, the black jack table among many other things.
"Here is the boss' office and we never go in there unless absolutely necessary." You looked at the big doors, that was where crocodile spent most of his time. Your eyes turned into sparkles you had never seen the man but heard about how he chased away pirates from the town keeping everybody safe.
"Okay now let me show you where you'll be working." You walked back to the place near the entrance where the drinks were being served.
"Otis here will show you how to make the drinks." There stood a tall man with curly hair and olive skin.
"I'll leave you two to get acquainted, bye!" With that Lydia walked away and you turned to Otis.
1st person pov
"Hey I'm Y/n guess we'll be working together." He chuckled slightly at me.
"There's no need to be nervous."
After a few minutes of explaining how everything worked as well as making the cocktails and mocktails he gave me some tips on how to deal cards because they might need me when the place was full there as well.
"That's about it. It's still early in the day so there won't be many people ordering drinks now."
