I hear Ivy's ear splitting scream and Leo falls to the floor. I don't know what went on between the two of them really, but I know she just lost someone she loved. It looks like I'm looking back into a flashback., staring at myself sobbing in pain as my mother died. I don't know how to comfort her, or even if I should. I didn't want confort. I wanted revenge, and in this situation, revenge would be good for her. Maybe she will finally kill her father. My decision is still undecided as Ivy gets up to her feet, glaring at her father, ready to murder with tears streaming down her face.

"If you want the throne, you can have it." My father says, stealing everyone's attention.

"What's the catch?" John asks.

"A duel to the death."

Without hesitation John waves the guards away from my father. "Tonight at the mountain top were we used to play swords. Do you remember?" John smiles.

"Yes. I have only one request."

"And that is?"

"We shall only use the blades of the league." My father says, still calm as they play with their lives.

"Okay. I can deal with that." John says.

I look over to Ivy who's still staring at Leo's body. His blood covers half of his face. Her father nudges Leo with his foot.

"Don't touch him!" Ivy screams.

Her father smiles at her, threat filling his smile.

"You better be careful daughter, or loverboy will be next." He says.

Ivy sheds another tear, but doesn't say another word. I watch wordlessly as Ivy tries to regain herself. She fails, but she keeps trying. I watch in awe as she controls herself, where I would have torn this building down piece by piece, ready to murder anyone who told me to calm down. That was also the day I needed someone the most, even if I pushed them away, I needed that person to stay strong and be there for me, no matter what I did. Ivy needs someone to stay strong for her.

"Ivy." I say, walking up to her.

She doesn't answer, so I put my hand on her shoulder and she shrugs me off with violence.

"Don't touch me." She whispers.

Her voice is filled with sorrow, but I don't budge. I need to stay strong for her. Her head snaps up, startling me. She gets to her feet, ignoring my presents, and runs to Leo's body. Her father leaves the room with Raz and the guards, leaving me with Ivy and Leo's body.

"Ivy what are you doing?" I ask, voice soft as snow.

"I-I can save him. I can heal him and everything will be fine. Everything will be-"

"Ivy no! You can't!" I try to pull her off but she shoves me, making me fall to the ground. "Ivy! You will forget everything again! You'll be right back to where your father wants you!"

"I DON'T CARE!" She screams.

I stand to my feet as she positions her hands out infront of her, and run to pull her back again.

"Ivy stop!" I yell.

"LET GO OF ME!" She screams, throwing her hands and kicking her feet.

She lands a few blows on me, but I barely feel them.

"Let me heal him!" She cries, still struggling in my hands.

"No! Ivy listen to me-"

"No! I don't have to listen to you!" She screams. "This should have been you! I'd rather it have been you!"

Her words stab me in my heart as it silently breaks.

"Ivy." I say with hurt. She stops struggling and looks up at me with her eyes full of tears streaming down her face. I look away, not wanting to look at her. "This isn't what Leo would have wanted for you."

I let go of her, not baring to stand in the same room with her. I tried to stay strong, but I failed, again. She always manages to strike me in the heart. I stand up and leave without another look back at her.
