Chapter 5

Authors note: I don't usually do these but I'll be saying "I say" and such when you type messages on your phone from now on. Just as a clarification.

I was woken up to my phone going off "My impeccable hearing is a real burden sometimes" I thought grabbing my phone and seeing Uzi was ready to come back, I cut a rift open next to me and she passed through before it hit me where I was "Y/n!!!!" Uzi shouts waking Yeva up who was sleeping on me "Uzi!?" Yeva says surprised "Y/n! Why did you cut it here!? I wasn't in a rush!" Uzi says covering her eyes "Uzi it's not what it looks like!" Yeva says "I'm just going to leave!" Uzi says "What's all the shouting for? MOM!?" Doll says appearing at the door seeing Yeva laying on me. Uzi pushed past Doll who left with her, "We had better go explain!" Yeva says before coughing again. "No I'll go talk to them and get you some antifreeze, you stay in bed and stay warm" I say getting up and chasing after them, I had to follow there scents but they split paths and one went towards the doctor's direction so I decided to head that way as well. I soon found Doll walking down the hallway and I caught up to her "Don't talk to me!" She says before I grab her "Let me go!" She says I pulled my phone out and typed out a message "We weren't having sex! You know she's sick, her antifreeze levels are low so I was using my ability to raise my temperature like I did before with you to keep her body warm" I say "Then why was she sleeping on you!? And why was Uzi there!" She asked "We drifted off! I fell asleep and was woken up by Uzi texting me she wanted to come back, I was still half asleep and completely forgot I was in bed with Yeva so I cut the rift when it hit me but she had already come through!" I said as she seemed to calm down "So your not banging my mom?" She asked "No! She's my mother too!" I say "Fine! But don't get any ideas about sleeping with her! I will never call you dad!" She says "Don't worry I'd never get into a relationship with our mom, now do you know where I can get some antifreeze?" I asked "Yes the doctor has it, go talk to them" she says pushing me slightly I took the hint and left.

Upon arriving at the doctors I was greeted by her talking to someone, "Oh Y/n your back, how is the medicine working?" She asked "No changes yet, look I need some antifreeze for Yeva, she's very ill" I say as we entered her office "I see, I'll get you some but first let me take a look at you vocals again. The medicine should have started working already" she says "Alright" I say opening my mouth "I want to try something different this time, this little guy will slide down and give me an up close look at them. I'd like to take a sample if I may?" She asked "Of course! If we can stop the pain and bleeding I'd be able to speak again!" I say hopeful to get my voice back. The little drone crawled down my throat and as the doctor looked at the little screen she found what she was looking for "Seems I misjudged the issue, you appear to have an infection or virus of sorts. I'll definitely need a sample to get a cure." She says I felt a small pinch before the little drone crawled back up and out of my mouth. "I'll give you a call when I get a cure made, give me your number" she says. I gave it to her and she gave me the antifreeze, I left her office and once out of the doctors cut a rift back to Yeva room. Once I got there I found Yeva wrapped in many blankets shivering. I helped her drink the antifreeze and once she was done the whole bottle I set it down, "Thank you Y/n, did you get ahold of Doll?" She asked "Yeah I got to her and explained everything" I say "Thank you, I wouldn't want her thinking we were a couple, after all I'm just your mother. Right?" She asked "Yes? Your my mom" I say giving her a confused look at the weird question "Okay, just making sure we are on the same page, that makes this next question a little weird" she says "What are you planning?" I asked "I was wondering if you'd move into my room? Its hard without Demn next to me anymore, and I've been having a hard time sleeping without him. You make it easy and I don't have that empty feeling when I've slept with you" she says "Okay, just remember we are family and not a couple, Doll made it very clear she doesn't want us in a relationship" I say "She doesn't want us together? Aside from the whole family thing I wonder why she doesn't want me and you together?" She asks "No idea" I say, Yeva opened the blankets "Come on! Your warm!" She says. I shook my head and climbed under the covers, Yeva quickly curled up again as I got comfortable "Remember we are family!" I say "I know but I'm still cold" she says resting her head on my chest where it was warmest, we drifted off together again.
