Chapter 6

As R and I exited the rift inside the colony I lead her to some empty apartments and got her settled into one, I alerted the WDF that she was living in it and got her enrolled in classes so she'd have classes on Monday. I left her to get comfortable and returned to Yeva's apartment only to walk in and find Doll, Lizzy, Rebecca and V sitting around in there pajamas "Oh hello Y/n" Doll says. I waved giving her a confused look "We're having a sleepover to help relax from the attack tonight" she says. I nodded before pointing to V confused as to why she was here "We sat down and had a chat with mom, she apologized profusely so mom said she could stay for the night. She's in her room if you were wondering" she says "Our room, mom has asked me to stay with her at night and with Uzi sleeping in my room for awhile I'll be sharing a bed with mom" I say "You had better not!" She says "Well I am, don't worry calling me dad will grow on you" I say tormenting her "Gross!" Lizzy says "And I'm sure you've called more then a few guys daddy" I say. She got an embarrassed look not replying, with that I walked passed them and to my room where Uzi and N were. I knocked on the door before entering and found Uzi laying on N in silence "How are you doing?" I asked Uzi didn't answer but N gave me a quick smile and nod signaling she was going to be okay. I left them in peace and went to Yeva's room and found her reading a book in her nightgown "Hello Y/n, what took you so long?" She asked, I took my jacket off tossing it aside "Had to get another drone set up in an apartment" I say "Don't tell me there is another murder drone here!" She says "Yes, altho she's not hostile. I jumped the gun and attacked her and she didn't even try to fight back or even protect herself. I had a chat and apologized for basically torturing her, brought her here got her a place to stay and enrolled her in classes" I say taking my shirt off, I climbed into bed and pulled the covers over me before I took my pants off and set them aside and on to the floor. Yeva snuggled up next to me setting her book aside, I could tell she was stressed as she latched on to me resting her head on my shoulder so I put my arm around her pulling her in rubbing her back. We didn't say much and just fell asleep together.

When we woke up it was noisy as everyone was up and talking, I got up along with Yeva and I tossed my pants on before exiting to the kitchen. Once I got out in the kitchen I looked around and saw Doll trying to cook Rebecca hitting on N, Lizzy and V sitting on the couch chatting, Uzi was no where's to be found, I rubbed my eyes before I tapped N's shoulder "Oh morning Y/n" he says "Yeah morning where's Uzi?" I asked "Shes still in the room, she's awake but she doesn't want to be around everyone" he says "Alright I'll go check on her" I say "Why spend time with her hot stuff? When you can spend it with me~" Rebecca cooed. I ignored her and went to see Uzi, I knocked on the door before I entered but once I did I noticed Uzi curled up in the blankets. I walked over and sat down on the edge of the bed "What do you want Y/n?" She asked "Nothing, I'm just checking in on you" I say putting my hand on her shoulder "I'll be fine" she says. I sighed slightly and laid down next to her pulling her into a hug, I let her go after a few seconds "Do you need anything?" I asked "I need some clean clothes... and I'm a little hungry" she says "Alright you wait here I'll go get you some" I say getting up and cutting a rift to her place, I was in her room and grabbed her the first set of clothes I found in her drawers and returned to my room with the pile for her I set them on the bed next to her "There, I just grabbed the first things I saw, so sorry if they don't match" I say "It's okay, I don't care" she says I gently rubbed her arm a little before I got up to find her some food. And it didn't take long as I returned to the kitchen to see something I never thought I would Yeva was cook with N and she was smiling and laughing with him, I smiled and made my way over to them "Glad to see you two getting along" I say "Why wouldn't we?" N asked "I didn't have very high opinions on murder drones, especially given V had killed my husband" Yeva says "Oh I'm sorry to hear that" N says "We can't change the past, but I think I'll be fine. Your just a bundle of joy" she says pinching his cheek, he laughed softly before getting back to cooking "Uzis getting hungry, could you take her a plate when it's ready?" I asked "Of course! I'm guessing your off to do something?" N asked "Yeah, I'll go pay R a visit and see how she's doing" I say "That's kind of you" N says, I waved bye and cut a rift to outside her apartment.
