Chapter 7

We made our way to the doctors but I didn't have high hopes of actually getting my voice back, I had no doubt in my mind Nori had tried to find a way to get me it back all those years ago so this was just a false hope. We eventually arrived and the doctor took me in immediately "So Zigs here is going to crawl down and administer the medicine directly to the infection" she says holding her hand out as a little spider drone crawled up and gave me a little salute. "Ewww no offense" R says "Oh Zigs is use to it, he has heard it all before" she says, I held my hand out and let Zigs crawl onto it he crawled up my arm and to my mouth waiting for me to open it. Once I did he crawled in and down my throat, I felt him crawling through my throat and chest before I felt a few pinches from what I assumed were needles. Once I felt him come back up I opened my mouth and he crawled out and back down my arm, I held him up in my hand and gave him a nod and smile. The doctor took him back "So you should be able to speak in a few hours! If you are still having troubles, come back and we will take another look" she says. "Thanks doc, and thank you Zigs" I say, with that I got up and left with R following me "So now what?" She asked "No idea" I say "How about the arcade?" She asked "Nah I'm not much of a gamer, I prefer destroying things" I say "Hmm, I could give my weapons a spin on something not alive" she says "I'm always available you know" I say "What!? I'm not going to shoot you!" She says "Why not? I've been hit but just about every munition in the humans arsenal and haven't felt a dam thing" I say "How strong are you!?" She asked "As far as I know I'm invincible to 99% of things the humans can come up with, poison, guns, missiles, hell even a railgun firing a 23 inch spike couldn't scratch me" I say "You just got a lot more fucking terrifying" she says "Don't give me a reason and you have nothing to be afraid of" I say before I cut us a rift outside.

Once we got there we flew to a different area as to not trap or damage the colony at all, "So am I going first or are you?" She asked "You go first, I'm still a little woozy from the medicine" I say "Wait your woozy? How?" She asked "My genetics don't like medicine that much, while it don't stop it from working they basically clash the entire time giving me a headache" I say. "Seriously? That sucks!" She says swapping her hand to a handgun and firing a few rounds at a car door "So what all can you even do?" She asked "I have no idea, I still learn new things as I evolve" I say "Evolve? What do you mean by that?" She asked firing a grenade "I don't grow or really age, but the more food I consume the stronger my powers get and the more my monster forms grow and get bigger" I say before the grenade blew up "So that thing that killed the other two was actually you? And not just some monster controlled by you?" She asked "Yep it was me, I can shape shift into a multitude of things but I have five favorites" I say "Can I see them?" She asked "Maybe later, it takes a lot of energy to shapeshift." I say "That would make sense" she says "You did kinda see one form, the rock ball is a mode of transportation for the biggest monster" I say "Seriously? How does it it get dizzy?" She asked "Some science word Gyro something, basically it can't get dizzy" I say "Why does everything in science have to have so big complex word?" She asked "No idea, humans are stupid at naming things if you ask me" I say. "You good to go yet?" She asked "Yeah I'm good" I say. I tucked my phone into my pocket and charged some lightning in my arm before tossing it forward is a spiral leaving a lasting effect in the air "What the hell! That's cool as shit!" She says. I bent down and ripped a chunk of the ground out tossing it as far as I could but it never landed as R had fired a missile at it hitting it out of mid air, I smiled at her and gave her a fist bump "Got anything else cool?" She asked, I gave her a thumbs up and slammed my arms into the ground, the ground began to split and separated in several spots as lava spewed out into the air, I stuck a car with some web made of acid and ripped the car up into the air before I hit it with a lightning bolt. Once it hit the ground I built some lava in my chest before I puked it out melting the snow away and the car, I look at R who's jaw was dropped "Remind me never to make you mad...." She says, I winked before I motioned for her to take flight "Uhh okay?" She says before launching herself up, I kept making her get higher as to not harm her with this next attack. Once she was high enough I super heated my entire body and the heat generated began emitting out and melting everything around me, Cars, snow, the ground under the snow everything was melting or catching on fire, the area got bigger and bigger before it hit a building setting it ablaze as well. Soon it collapsed as it was already unstable and the rubble fell away from us, I dialed my temperature down a lot as steam came out of my ears, mouths, eyes and off my body as it rapidly cooled. Once it did I called R back down "Can you stop scaring me!" She says smiling "What did you expect? I'm a monster!" I say "Maybe you are, but your a cool as hell one" she says patting me on the shoulder, we stayed out for a few more hours just tearing the area apart before we called it quits.
