"I wonder when school's gonna be over......" I mumble as I watch the clock
"Psst! emo boy!" someone whispered behind me as they slightly kick my chair
Frowning, I look behind me to see my bestfriend hu tao grinning at me as she looks at me and the blonde individual whom is currently entering the room, then stared back at me wiggling her eyebrows
"They're cute aren't they xiao?" Hu tao said with a grin
"No they're not" I replied denying her statement
I then rolled my eyes and faced front
I was just looking at the clock again when something caught my eye.
A beautiful long blonde hair being blown by the wind with elegance
My eyes widened with admiration as I watch that individual grab a strand of their hair and place it behind their ear

"I'm so sorry for being late! and about my hair hehe..... sorry.....I forgot to tie it" they said apolozing to the teacher
"you're fine. Introduce yourself, and sit down in an empty chair afterwards" the teacher explained
They nodded with a bright smile, which got me smiling without even noticing that I was
They faced the class and waved with a warm smile. "Hi everyone! my name is lustien, aether 17"
"great, now go take a seat" the teacher instructed
They waved at me and came at my table
"May I sit with you?" They asked me with a genuine smile
"Do as you wish." I said acting all tough and stared at the window
The individual sat beside me
Some time passed and I couldn't help but steal a few glances of my seatmate
my heart flutter whenever their arm would brush against mine accidentally. It felt like hundreds of butterflies were flying in my stomach
I calmed myself down. in the middle of the class I felt a tug on my sleeve
I look at the blondy tugging at my sleeve and tilted my head
"What do you want?" I asked coldly with narrowed eyes
They stopped the tugging and uttered "ermm.....do you have any extra hair ties?" They asked and gave me an awkward smile
"Don't have one, try asking the weirdo sitting behind us" I replied pointing at hu tao using my thumb
They nodded and faced hu tao
"Hey....! Umm.." they whisper shouted trying to get hu tao's attention
I couldn't help but smile a little and thought "it's cute to see my seatmate try"
I shook my head and dismissed these thoughts immediately, I focused my attention on the ticking clock once more
I could hear them both talking, and it seemed like they came to a conclusion that hu tao will lend them a hair tie if they let her braid their hair. I couldn't care less though...but I did feel a bit jealous
Wait no no no *xiao shook his head trying to get the thought out*
And with that the class ended and I could finally go home, but it seemed like mother nature had other plans caused it started raining, heavily.
