Summary: Taylor is nervous about her first show on her tour.
--------------------
You walk into Taylor's dressing room to see her gone. You looked around and knocked on the bathroom door, only to find she's not there. You sigh and sit down on the couch to wait for her to get back. This is her first show of the Reputation Stadium Tour and she's been a nervous wreck about it. Ever since everything happened with Kanye and what felt like the whole world turned on her, she's been panicking about performing again.
"Where is it? Where is it?" Taylor whispers to herslef when she comes back into the dressing room. You look up from your phone to see Taylor pacing the room trying to find something.
"Tay?" You ask. "What's wrong? What are you looking for?"
Taylor doesn't look up as she rummages through bags.
"I can't find my phone anywhere," she tells you with a grumble. You slightly chuckle at her.
"You mean the one in your hand?" You ask. Taylor stops what she's doing and looks down at ber hand to see her phone, right there the whole time. She sheepishly turned off her phone flashlight which she had been using to find her phone and slowly got up from kneeling on the floor.
You get up from the couch and walk over to her. "You're nervous, aren't you?" You ask her.
"How could I not be?" She asks, ruffling her hair in frustration. "I haven't been on tour in like three years and I go on in like an hour. What if I completely blow it?"
You smile slightly and put your hands on her shoulders. "You're not gonna blow it," you tell her. "Every single person in that audience came here because they love you. They don't care about if you don't perfect the choreography or if you mess up a word or two. They're all so excited for you. I am, too. I'm excited that you're going on tour again and I'm excited that you get to do what you love most."
Taylor smiles at you and pulls you into a hug. You hug her back and kiss her temple. When she pulls away, you gently put your hands on her cheek and move a piece of hair out of her face.
"I'll be out in the crowd as well," you tell her. "And I will be back here when the show is over and we can spend all of our time cuddling on the couch and watching Friends with the cats."
Taylor laughs at you from your comment. "That sounds really nice," she tells you with a smile. "And also a Margarita. I could take one of those as well."
You laugh at her this time before pulling her back into a hug. "You're gonna do amazing, Tay," you say softly to her. "You always do."
Taylor sighs as she relaxes in your hold, closing her eyes. You were right. She had nothing to worry about.
