Summary: You go to the studio with Taylor and end up writing a song together. -------------------- "You ready to go, y/n/n?" Taylor asks as she slips on her shoes. You jog out from your bedroom after changing and slipping on your shoes as well.
"Yup," you smile. Today was one of the few days you had off in between filming, so Taylor asked you if you wanted to go to the studio with her, which you gladly accepted. You stood up and opened the door for Taylor. "Let's go."
Taylor smiled at you and gave you a quick kiss before leaving, you being right behind her. You two got in the car and drove off.
In the car, the two of you talked about anything and everything. You talked about life, your careers, your upcoming projects and award shows, the future, everything.
You made a quick stop at Dunkin to get coffee and food since you left around 8 in the morning.
When you arrived at the studio, you followed taylor into a recording room where Jack was waiting.
"Taylor, y/n!" He greeted with a smile, standing up from the couch and going over to give the two of you hugs.
"Hey," Taylor said with a smile and a laugh. "Y/n has today off, so I hope you don't mind her staying here today."
"Of course not," Jack says. "Y/n is welcome whenever."
You smile at him and mutter a 'thank you' before going to sit on the couch while Taylor and Jack discussed the next song on Taylor's new album.

About an hour later, Taylor went into the recording booth, so you decided to go into another room and play guitar. You were a singer and songwriter yourself, so you knew how to play guitar and other instruments.
You started off by just playing a few random notes before you found a rhythm you liked. You played the same notes over and over again, ideas for lyrics flowing into your brain. You hummed quietly to try and find the notes for the chorus.
Once you had a set idea for the song, you set down the guitar and went to find a pad of paper and a pencil. You quickly made your way back to the chair you were sitting in and began writing down the chorus. You continued humming and strumming the guitar as you kept writing.
A few minutes later, Taylor walked into the room and smiled at you. "What are you up to?" She asks and goes to sit on the piano bench and face you. You look up from the guitar and smile at her.
"I just had some inspiration for a song, so I decided to write one," you tell her. You hand her the paper with the chorus done and part of the first verse. "This is what I have so far."
Taylor immediately smiled as she began reading over the lyrics. "Is this about me?" She questions.
"Maybe," you tell her with a smile. Taylor smiles back to you and lets out a small giggle.
"Can I hear the guitar for it?" Taylor asks. You nod ypur head and pick the guitar back up, beginning to strum the notes and humming the tune.
Taylor closed her eyes and listened to the melody, turning and placing her hands on the piano keys. When she finds the rhythm, she begins to play light notes on the piano to harmonize with the guitar.
You began to softly sing the chorus of the song with the music, making Taylor turn to you and smile as she continued playing piano.
"Taylor," Jack said as he walked into the room. Taylor stopped playing the piano and you set down the guitar. "I have an idea for the song," he tells her with a smile.
You and Taylor get up and follow Jack back into the recording studio.
"That sounds really good, by the way," Jack says to the both of you as you make yourself comfortable on the couch next to Taylor.
"Thank you," you tell him with a smile. "It just came to me about a half hour ago, honestly."
Jack nods his head while you talk. "That would sound amazing if you two made it together," he tells you. You look over to Taylor and smile, her returning the gesture.

A few weeks after you and Taylor started to make the song together, you finally got it done. Taylor agreed that it could be your song featuring her, so you spent your days off at your studio with your producer to make the song.
You were very proud of the song, it being the first song featuring someone. This would release on your third album and you were beyond excited for the world to hear it.
