Summary: You react to Taylor's song Vigilante Shit for the first time in your YouTube video.
--------------------
"Okay, so far I have to say my favorite is Maroon," you say to the camera. You were currently filming a reaction video to Taylor's new album. Obviously, Taylor let you listen to the album way before anyone else, so you weren't planning on posting the video until the album was out."So this next song is called Vigilante Shit," you say to the camera. "I don't know what to expect, but there's a swear word in the title so I know it's gonna be good."
You hit play and the song starts.
Draw the cat-eye
sharp enough to kill a manYour mouth fell open when you heard the first lyric.
You did some bad things
but I'm the worst of themYour mouth fell even father open and you almost dropped your phone out of shock. You quickly paused the song. "Tay!" You call. You waited a few seconds but got no answer. "Taylor!" You call again.
"Coming!" You hear Taylor say from downstairs. You hear her quickly run upstairs and open the bedroom door. "Everything okay?"
You stare at her with your mouth open. "What's this?" You ask, showing her your phone with Vigilante Shit paused.
Taylor smirks, knowing how you would react to this specific song. "A song," she says simply, walking into the room. "Do you like it?"
"I mean, I'm only about ten seconds in, but oh my, God," you say to her. Taylor smiles and sits down next to you.
"Keep playing it," Taylor tells you, hitting the play button herself.
Sometimes I wonder which
one will be your last lieThey say looks can kill, and
I might tryYour jaw drops again and you look over to Taylor, who only smiles at you.
I don't dress for women
I don't dress for menLately I've been dressing for
revengeYou put your hands over your face, moving your fingers so you can see through them as you look between your phone and your girlfriend. Taylor only smiles, enjoying your reaction.
I don't start shit but I can
tell you how it endsDon't get sad, get even
So on the weekends, I don't
dress for friendsLately I've been dressing for
revengeYou let out a small, unintentional squeal as you lean your face on Taylor's shoulder to hide your bright red cheeks. Taylor laughs as she wraps an arm around your shoulder and looks at the camera.
She needed cold hard proof
so I gave her someShe had the envelope, where
you think she got it from? You lift your head from Taylor's shoulder and looked at your phone to read the lyrics.
Now she gets the house, gets
the kids, gets the pridePicture me thick as thieves
with you ex-wifeYou cover your face again and quickly pause the song again.
"What do you think so far?" Taylor asks you.
"I think this is one of the hottest songs you've ever written," you tell her as you keep your face covered.
Taylor begins to laugh again and pull you in for a hug.
"Oh my, God," you mumble. "My gayness can't handle this right now."
Taylor laughs harder as you remove your hands from your face to instead cover your mouth. Taylor smiles and starts the song again.
And she looks so pretty
Driving in your BenzLately she's been dressing
for revengeYou only sit in silence with Taylor's arm around your shoulder as you stare at your phone with your hands covering your mouth. Taylor smiles as she watches your reaction.

So on the weekends

"Are you okay?" Taylor asks as she laughs. You shake your head 'no'. Taylor laughs harder at your reaction.
"Just give me, like, fifteen seconds to gather myself," you tell her as you shut your eyes.
"We're never gonna get through the song,"
Taylor playfully complains. You sigh again before hitting play.Ladies always rise

"So," Taylor begins. "What do you think?"
"I think that is, in fact, the hottest song you have ever written," you tell her.
"Even hotter than Dress?" She asks you. She knew you had an obsession with that song for a while, and you claimed that it was 'forever going to be the hottest song she's ever written.'
"Even hotter than Dress," you agree, nodding your head. Taylor laughed again and brought you in for a hug, kissing your forehead. "God, I'm so gay," you mumble into Taylor's shirt.
"Well, I'm very glad you enjoyed that," Taylor says, still laughing.
