Guinevere's New Friend Part.2

"I know my question is going to sound stupid." Lottie said breaking the comfortable silence that had settled in the room. "But, are you okay ?"

"Yeah I mean-" She took a deep breath and shrugged. "I-I don't know."

"You seem pretty stressed since you got back. What happened there ?" She asked, turning to her.

"Did I tell you my girlfriend has a sister ?" She turned to Lottie too.

"Yes, Sam. You said she was cool." She smiled at the memory of the blonde rambling on about the big sister.

"I don't know if she lied to me, I hope she didn't lie to me. But she said she wanted to talk to me and-" She swallowed hard and started scratching the back of her neck. "I thought she believed me, she said she understands."

"Then why-" She grabbed Guinevere's hand in hers to stop her scratching. "Are you upset ?"

"Because right after I saw my girlfriend and her friends literally fall out of the bedroom. Especially Lexi, who is my friend first and foremost. And I don't want them to laugh at me again." She explained, trying to hide the quivering of her lip.

"Maybe they're trying but in the wrong way." She leaned down to emphasize her words, shaking Guinevere's hand. "But if it can cheer you up, I don't think you're a joke."

"I know you don't." She smiled sadly as she turned back to the glass cage where the two mouses were playing together. "Thank you."

"I should thank you." She turned around too and nudged her shoulder with hers gently. "You don't think I'm crazy."

"Of course I don't." She chuckled as she nudged her back.

Lottie put her arm around Guinevere's shoulders, letting go of her hand.

She sighed. "I miss Tara."

"I miss Nat too."

"Isn't she's with Tra-" "Travis I know ! But it's a matter of time and she will be mine !" She cut her off and the two started laughing

"What is wrong with her ?" Maddy asked sitting down with the others, Tara banging her forehead against the table repetitively.

"She's been without her girlfriend for 6 days. It has consequences." Lucrecia chuckled as she pulled out her phone.

"What does it mean ?" Abby asks Chad who was throwing peanuts in Mindy's mouth.

"Tara can last a maximum of 7 hours without her." He announced, looking at her seriously.

"By exceeding this time without a phone call or a text, she loses her mind." Mindy added as she opened her chocolate bar.

"So why don't we just go get Guivenere-" "Shhh. Don't say her name !" Lexi cut her off.

Abby frowned. "Guinevere ?"

"Guinevere !" Tara raised her head suddenly and everyone groaned.

"Come on Abby." Mindy rolled her eyes and the brunette pulled out her phone and started typing on it.
