"She's with Chad." Mindy shrugged as she continued to type on her phone.
"Again ?" Tara rolled her eyes, opening her fridge.
"Yep. These two are like stuck together 24/7." She laughed slightly before turning around from the couch to get a better look at Tara. "What are we watching this time ?"
The brunette, still in her thoughts, took a sip from her bottle of water. "What do you think they're doing ?"
"Working out ? I don't know, T' I asked you-" She cut herself off annoyed seeing Tara take out her phone and quickly type on it.
"She doesn't answer my texts. Why doesn't she answer me ?" She sighed as lifted her head with a sad face and Mindy gave her 'are you serious' look.
"Maybe because she's a terrible texter ? I've been in delivered for three days, we saw each other yesterday." She answered as if it were obvious before turning around again to grab the remote control.
"But she responds to Chad. Like all the time. Even when I'm with her." She mumbled before heading to the couch.
"Cool. Now tell me if you rather watch Bodies Bodies Bodies or Scary Movie-" "I should call her." She cut her off by starting to look for Guinevere in her contacts.
"What ?-" She was cut off by a noise indicating that Tara's phone was dialing a number.
"Tara ? Are you okay ?" Guinevere's voice came through her phone quickly.
Tara sighed in relief. "Yes. Now that I'm talking to you."
"Why did you call me ? I'm with Chad." She said immediately causing the brunette to frown.
"Because I miss you." She immediately answered a little hurt that the blonde sounded annoyed by her call.
"We saw each other this morning Tara." A sigh sounded from the phone and Mindy looked away with wide eyes.
"I know but you seem to be distant these days-"
"Thats why you're calling me ? I though it was something important." She cut it off and Mindy started to laugh but she immediately stopped, Tara's finger shutting her up.
"You don't miss me ?" She asked, the hurt quickly turning into irritation.
"I didn't say that. I said- Wait so why did you call me again ?" She asked again and Mindy started to hide behind her bowl of popcorn because of Tara's threatening finger on her.
"Because I missed you." She gritted between her teeth.
This time it sounded more like a complaint than anything else and Guivenere frowned.
"I don't know what to say-" She shook her head, whispering.
"Tell her that you miss her !" Chad replied, slapping the back of her head with the palm of his hand.
"I-I miss you too." She said bringing the phone closer hesitantly looking at Chad for his approval.
He gave her thumbs up.
"So, you don't mind if we see each other tonight ? We could watch whatever you want." Tara's voice sounded more like a trick question than a proposition.
He started waving his arms incomprehensibly and Guinevere started to panic even more.
"Yes- No ? I mean sure- if no- but yeah-" "Yeah ?" "Yeah."
