1:Girl Who Cried, Wolf?

"Werewolves and vampires aren't supposed to be real, right? RIGHT? So why did I just see a man that looked like he was an animal? Wait y/n he could just be a really hairy man or something, BUT he didn't have hair on him? His head just looked like a wolf or lion or something, an animal, the body of a man, but the head of an animal. Am I going crazy? Oh my gosh, I'm talking to myself again"

Y/n was trying to get out of the house more and not be such a homebody. She had overheard her neighbor talking about a hidden waterfall near a trail in the woods that was by their apartment complex. Since y/n needed to get exercise and sunlight before her muscles deteriorated, she decided to go find this so-called waterfall. She found the waterfall alright, along with the half-naked thing she saw in it. Scared, she tried her best not to make a sound, turning around she stepped on a branch, and without looking back she took off to her apartment.

After y/n reached her apartment, she phoned her best friend. With the thought of the creature coming to get her, she could not be alone.

Not much later, she heard the door being unlocked and in walked her best friend.

"Lee Know!" y/n said.

"What? What is it this time," Lee Know said as he rolled his eyes and sat beside her on the couch.

" I swear this is why I don't like getting out of the house!" y/n said.

"Yeah, yeah, I know. Get to the point," Lee Know said.

"The point is I went out like you've been telling me to, I went for a walk to get exercise and sunlight and I almost got killed," she said.

"You almost got killed?" he said.

"Yes, I went to go find that waterfall I've been hearing about and I swear I saw a man-"

"So you called me over here because you saw a man?" he said.

"No, listen. I saw a man, but he wasn't a man," she said.

Lee Know looked at y/n confused and unconvinced.

"So you saw a man, but he wasn't a man? That makes sense" he said, obviously sarcastic.

"I saw a man, but he wasn't you know a man. His head was...different"

"Different? How was his head different?"

"His body was like a man's body, but his head was some kind of animal"

" Y/n, I am tired. I have had a long day. If you needed company, y/n honey, say that. Don't beat around the bush with these crazy stories," he said.

" Yes I need company, but that's because of the thing I just told you about!" y/n said.

"Yah, stop being so dramatic! I'll stay, but enough with the bullsh*t please"

Lee Know rarely believes anything that y/n says and he has good reason not to. Growing up together, he watched y/n exaggerate every possible detail there could ever be in a story. She would lie her way out or into things and everyone believed it. The only reason he never believed it was because she would tell him the plan before she did it. She said that she told him so that if she were ever to get caught, he could help her out by lying too. She was the bad influence, but whatever she lacked, he made up for, and vice versa. They fit together like a puzzle piece and that's how they stayed friends.

Y/n knew the drill. She knew Lee Know wouldn't believe her after he said his famous 'enough with the bullsh*t' line. It was code for 'shut up or I'm leaving'. Once Lee Know said that, Y/n would know that if she continued talking about it, he would just go home and with what she experienced today, that's the last thing she wanted to happen.

Y/n zipped her mouth and threw the key as Lee Know nodded satisfied.

" So what do we do now?" y/n added.

"We go to bed what else? It's going on 9:00 and I have to be at work in the morning," Lee Know said.

"You always have to go to work," y/n said.

"That's because I need money. I don't have a talent like yours. I can't sit inside all day and doodle a masterpiece," Lee Know said.

" I don't know if I should take that as a compliment because Doodle sounds offensive, BUT I'll take what I can get from you," she smiled.

"Now go to bed so I can lay down," Lee Know said, pushing y/n off the couch with his feet.

" But I'm scared. Can't you sleep in my bed with me? Please?" y/n pouted doing ageyo.

"Stop, stop I'm cringing," Lee Know said covering his eyes.

" I am too but this can be persuasive sometimes," y/n laughed.

" I don't want to lay in bed with you. Last time I couldn't sleep because you took up all the room. I was on the edge of the bed, not to mention you had wrapped yourself around me. It was so hot and I had to hold my pee. AND to make it worse you listen to those rain sounds to fall asleep," Lee Know said

" It's called brown noises and it's supposed to help you relax and sleep better. BUT I promise I won't take up all the room. You can even build a pillow barrier to make sure I stay on my side of the bed," Y/n said.

" Fine, but turn the a/c up so I at least won't be hot if you happen to roll over the barrier," he said.

"Deal!" Y/n said happily as they both walked to her room.

Lee Know often stayed at y/n's apartment because he didn't want her to be alone. Y/n is a big introvert, but even so, she has social anxiety. It has gotten to the point where she gets anxious around her family. Lee Know tries to visit Y/n as much as he can so that she doesn't ever get that anxiety around him.

Y/n doesn't have a problem with isolating herself from everyone else or not talking for days on end. That's why she's alone. She used to have friends that she would text when she was in high school, but once she graduated, social contact became stressful for her. Texting someone would absolutely drain her and she always felt like the friendships were one-sided. She knew the other person put in the effort, but it was she who lacked the effort to keep the friendship. She hated making people feel that way so she just stopped trying to make friends and isolated herself from everyone. Lee Know was the only one who didn't leave her side because he knew what she was going through and he knew how she felt. Y/n is the type to only talk to you when she needs comfort or when she's bored. She doesn't mean to do that though. Y/n likes her alone time and often gets too caught up in it. When something happens that is when she is reminded that she has friends. Lee Know didn't see y/n like this though. He saw her as a girl who had lost touch with the world and him being her only connection to it.
