CHAN POV

I was nervous when Y/n texted me. I knew we needed to talk about it, but I was trying to avoid it. I'm not sure of my feelings and I don't want to start something that I don't know if I'm going to finish. I was going to tell her that but she said it was the "heat of the moment".

I was disappointed when I heard her answer. I knew it meant something to me, but for it to mean nothing to her hurt.

I went home and took a shower trying to shake it out of my thoughts. I lost my appetite so I skipped dinner and got ready for bed until I got a text from Lee Know asking if we could talk.

Immediately I thought that she told him about what happened. I got a flashback of when he busted my lip in the alleyway of the grocery store because he thought I did something to her.

He said he would have left me bleeding out. That kept ringing in my head as I tried to calm myself down.

Maybe it's about something else. She probably didn't tell him. Hopefully.

My hands shook with nervousness as I texted him back saying I was home and could talk.

He asked if I could come over to Y/n's place because she was sleeping and he didn't want to leave her by herself. I prepared myself for a beating as I didn't know what I was walking into.

I threw on my Crocs and a hoodie and walked over to Y/n's place. I texted Lee Know that I was at the door so that I wouldn't wake Y/n up by knocking or ringing the doorbell. I took a deep breath as I heard him grabbing the nob.

He closed the door behind me as he led me to the couch. I tried not to show my nerves.

"So what happened? What did you need to talk about?" I asked.

"Y/n. Today I found her crying when I came back from picking up groceries and dinner. I have no clue what it's about. She wasn't hurt or anything and didn't talk about it. I'm guessing she was painting and got frustrated or overwhelmed and just broke down," Lee Know said.

" What was she painting?"

"Hold on I'll go get it,"

Lee Know came back with a medium-sized canvas and showed me her painting. My heart dropped immediately.

Did he know?

Why is he showing me this?

Why is he telling me all of this?

I decided to still play dumb as to what was going on.

"But that's beautiful? Why would that make her frustrated? Or to the point of breaking down?" I asked.

"I have no idea. She was too worked up about whatever it was and once I calmed her down I decided just to ask her about it later because her stomach growled," he chuckled near the end of his sentence.

" So did you want me to ask her?" I asked.

"No, no. I just want you to keep an eye on her. I was worried about leaving her alone first, but then she hurt her ankle so I was even more worried, then I found her like this and am even more worried. I called my boss to try to get out of the trip because it broke my heart to leave her when she was in this state, but nothing could get me out of it. So I wanted to talk to you so that you can keep a closer eye on her. She's a bigger baby when she's sad and very clinging. If you ever find her crying, pick her up and hold her close to you. Either pat her back or head and rock her back and forth. She will either calm down or fall asleep. Try not to pressure anything out of her. Usually after crying, she won't talk. There are rare chances that she will, but more small talk then it progresses as the day goes on. She won't talk but she will nod her head yes and no. Make sure she drinks a lot of water after crying, like more than usual because it drains her badly,"
