LEE KNOW POV

I'm growing more worried for y/n every day. The more she stays inside, the more she becomes afraid of the outdoors. I have to go on a business trip soon and I'm scared to leave her alone. But with Chan in the picture, he can be there for her while I am away, I just have to make sure he's a safe person then I have to make sure y/n is comfortable enough around him.

I and y/n decided to invite Chan over for dinner and I'm thinking simple games like truth or dare and never have I ever so that I can learn more about him.

I am over at y/n's now prepping the food for later while she is working on an art piece.

"What are you making now?" I say.

"I don't know. I wanted to do a 3D piece with flowers but the glue isn't working," y/n said.

"What kind of glue are you using,"

"I used gorilla glue to make the flowers and now I'm out so I'm using this adhesive glue I found but the stem won't stay put," she said.

"Do you want me to go get some?" I offer.

"No, it's fine. I'll figure something out later and just work on the canvas for right now. By the way, what time is Chan coming?" she asked.

"He said he gets off of work at 6, so sometime around then. I'll text him and tell him to tell me when he is on the way,"

I texted Chan telling him to let me know when he is on the way so I can start cooking. He asked if I needed anything since he needed to stop by the store anyway. I asked him for gorilla glue for y/n. Of course, she would figure something out with her art project, but she would end up sending me to the store to get some.

" I asked Chan to pick up some gorilla glue on his way," I told y/n.

She gasped loudly.

"Before you say anything, he needed to go to the store anyway,"

"But now I feel like I owe him more," she said.

"Y/n, you are treating him to dinner remember? Now remember when he gets here, you have to socialize. You promised that you would. And I'll help give you opportunities to talk, okay? I'll make it easy for you," I said.

I knew she was nervous, but I had to make sure she was comfortable with him before I had to leave.

Time Skip; 6:30 pm

*Knock Knock*

"Y/n, get the door. Chan's here," I yelled.

She came running out of the room with paint on her face and hands, before I could say anything else she opened the door. I chuckled silently, visualizing her scolding me later for not telling her.

"Hi, Chan," Y/n said.

"Hey- what happened to your face?" Chan said bringing his free hand up, cupping her cheek looking worried.

This gave me a sense of relief. He's worried over paint, a green flag.

"What?" she said looking at me confused.

"Paint," I replied.

She glared at me before turning back to Chan.

"You can come in, excuse me while I go wash up," she said heading towards the back, not forgetting to shoot me a death glare before she left.

"Hey Chan,"

"Hi Lee Know, I didn't want to come empty handed so I brought some wine for us," Chan said.

"This is the one I wanted to try," I said.

"It's supposed to have a sweet taste and they say it doesn't give hangovers,"
