MIDNIGHT ENCLAVE HEADQUARTERS - NIGHT

The opulent room is dimly lit, adorned with expensive artwork and antique furniture. The atmosphere is heavy with an air of authority. The MAFIA QUEEN, a captivating woman in her late 20s, enters the room with a regal grace. Dressed in a tailored suit, her piercing eyes command attention. Her men, armed and loyal, stand before her, awaiting orders.

Mafia Queen (smirking)
Gentlemen, gather around. It seems we have a rat in our midst, a traitor who dared to deceive me.

The men exchange glances, tension filling the room.

Mafia Queen (cont'd)
He thought he could betray me and get away with it. But we all know the price of betrayal, don't we?

The men nod, their expressions hardened.

Mafia Queen (voice dripping with authority)
I want you to find him, bring him to me alive. I have a special punishment in mind for someone who dares to cross me.

One of the men steps forward, a hint of concern in his eyes.

Loyal Henchman (a 40 year old, Mafia Queen respects him a lot)
But, Naira, isn't there another way? Do we have to resort to violence?

Naira (turning her gaze on him, her voice cold)
Violence is the language of our world, uncle. It's what keeps us in power. We cannot afford to show weakness.

She paces in front of her men, her tone becoming more menacing.

Naira (cont'd)
This man believed he could deceive me, undermine my authority. He needs to learn that actions have consequences. He needs to understand the price he must pay.

The tension in the room thickens as the men brace themselves for what's to come.

Naira (eyes blaze)
So, find him. Give him a taste of our retribution. Make it known that nobody defies me and lives to tell the tale.

The men exchange determined looks, ready to carry out their leader's orders.

Another Henchman (reluctantly)
Yes, boss. We'll do as you command.

Naira nods approvingly, her gaze never wavering.

Naira
Good. Remember, we are the arbiters of justice in this dark realm. And justice will be served, one bullet at a time.

The men disperse, their footsteps echoing through the lavish headquarters, as Naira remains, a formidable force in her domain.

FADE OUT.

ON THE OTHER SIDE,

A young man with a warm smile and a gentle demeanor, sits behind the wheel of a car. Beside him is his best friend, Veer, an easygoing and loyal companion.

The boy
You know, Veer, driving at night always has a calming effect on me. It's as if the world slows down, and I can appreciate the quiet moments.

Veer (chuckling)
I know what you mean, Kartik. The night brings a certain serenity that's hard to find during the day.

As they continue driving, their conversation is interrupted by a sudden movement on the road ahead. Kartik's eyes widen as he spots a wounded dog struggling on the pavement.

Kartik (concerned)
Oh no, Veer! Look at that poor dog! It seems injured.

Veer (glancing over)
Wow, you've got a soft spot for animals, my friend. What do you want to do?

Kartik (determined)
We can't just leave it there. I'm going to pull over and see if I can help.

Kartik steers the car to the side of the road and stops. He jumps out, his heart filled with compassion. Veer follows suit, understanding his friend's intentions. They approach the injured dog, carefully assessing its condition. Kartik's eyes reflect a mix of worry and empathy.

Kartik (gentle voice)
Hey there, buddy. It's okay, we're here to help you.

He carefully lifts the injured dog and carries it to his car, gently placing it on the backseat. Veer watches with admiration, knowing his friend's kind-hearted nature.

Kartik sits in the driver's seat, the injured dog nestled safely on the backseat. He drives cautiously, his focus solely on finding help for the wounded creature.

Veer (admiringly)
Kartik, you never cease to amaze me. Most people would have just driven past, but you stopped to help this poor dog.

Kartik (softly)
It's the right thing to do, Veer. We have to look out for those who can't speak for themselves.

They arrive at the nearest animal hospital, Kartik carefully carrying the dog inside. The staff members rush to assist them, recognizing the urgency in Kartik's eyes.

Kartik (to the staff)
Please, do whatever you can for him. He needs immediate attention.

As the medical professionals take over, Kartik and Veer exchange a satisfied nod, their faith in humanity reaffirmed.

FADE OUT.
