INT. SECRET WAREHOUSE - STAIRCASE - DAY

Naira, Tanya, and Shravan cautiously descend the stairs, with Kartik reluctantly following behind them. Naira glances back, her curiosity piqued by Kartik's compliance.

Naira
Kartik, why haven't you tried to escape?

Kartik looks at Naira, a hint of resignation in his eyes.

Kartik
No, I don't think so. Running away won't solve anything. Besides, where would I go? I don't even know this place.

Naira's brow furrows, unsure of Kartik's intentions.

Naira
But why would you choose to stay? You barely know us, and yet you're willingly following us.

Kartik takes a deep breath, his voice tinged with determination.

Kartik
It's not about knowing each other for a long time. It's about doing what's right. Maybe there's a chance for change, even in the darkest of situations. I want to believe that.

Naira's gaze softens as she tries to comprehend Kartik's perspective.

Naira
You're different, Kartik. Most people would have run without a second thought. I don't understand why you're willing to stay.

Kartik offers a gentle smile, his eyes reflecting a glimmer of hope.

Kartik
Sometimes, it's about taking a stand, even if it seems against the odds. Maybe we can find a way to make things right, together.

They continue their descent, a newfound sense of unity slowly emerging among them.

INT. OUTSIDE THE WAREHOUSE - DAY

Naira, Tanya, Shravan, and Kartik step outside the warehouse. They see their car parked nearby, ready to take them on their journey.

NAIRA (to Tanya and Shravan)
Wait here, I'll be back in a moment.

Naira walks a few steps away from the group and takes out a cigar from her pocket. She leans against a wall, lighting the cigar and taking a deep puff, lost in her thoughts.

SHRAVAN
Tanya, we need to be careful with Kartik. We can't trust him blindly. He might be the mole.

TANYA
You're right, Shravan. We can't ignore the possibility. Let's keep an eye on him.

Naira finishes her puff and walks back towards the group, noticing the serious expressions on Tanya and Shravan's faces.

NAIRA
I understand your concerns, but I have a different kind of trust in Kartik. I believe there's more to him than meets the eye. Let's proceed cautiously, but let's not assume the worst about him.

They exchange glances, unsure but willing to give Kartik a chance.

SHRAVAN
Alright, Naira. We'll keep an eye out, but we'll give him the benefit of the doubt for now.

TANYA
Agreed. Let's stay vigilant and see how things unfold.

They take a deep breath, steeling themselves for the uncertain road ahead, and together, they walk towards the car, ready to face the challenges that await them.

INT. CAR - DAY

Tanya sits behind the wheel, Shravan in the passenger seat, and Naira beside Kartik in the backseat. Naira is wearing shorts, and the scars on her thighs are visible. Kartik notices them and musters the courage to ask.

KARTIK
What are those marks, Naira? They look like gunshot wounds and knife cuts.

Naira's eyes momentarily well up with tears, and she looks down at her scars, a mix of pain and vulnerability crossing her face.

NAIRA
These scars... They remind me of a time filled with darkness and unimaginable pain. They represent the battles I've fought and the price I've paid.

Kartik's sympathetic expression deepens, and he reaches out to gently touch Naira's hand.

KARTIK
I'm sorry you had to endure such suffering, Naira. It must have been incredibly difficult for you.

Naira's gaze meets Kartik's, and a flicker of gratitude and sadness passes through her eyes.

NAIRA
(whispering)
Don't waste your sympathy on me, Kartik. If my own father didn't care, why should you?

Shravan, sensing the emotional weight of the conversation, interjects with a comforting tone.

SHRAVAN
(supportively)
Naira, we know it's not easy for you to open up. But remember, you're not alone anymore. We're here for you, every step of the way.

Kartik, concerned and curious, leans closer to Naira, his voice filled with genuine care.

KARTIK
Naira, I want you to know that your scars don't define you. You're stronger than you think, and you have the power to rewrite your story.

Naira's tears escape her eyes, sliding down her cheeks, as conflicting emotions wash over her.

KARTIK
Naira, if you're comfortable sharing, why didn't your father care?
Naira's face tightens, and a mix of anger and pain flashes in her eyes.

NAIRA
That's a story for another time, Kartik. Right now, we have more important things to deal with.

The car falls into a thoughtful silence, the weight of Naira's past lingering in the air. Kartik gently wipes away Naira's tears, silently conveying his support and understanding.

They continue their journey, the shared vulnerability forging an unspoken bond between them, as they navigate the uncertain path ahead, seeking solace in each other's presence.
