INT. Hospital Corridor - Day

Kartik, dressed in fresh clothes, stood in the hospital corridor, his eyes flickering with a mix of exhaustion and relief. The air felt tense, the minutes ticking away as he awaited the doctor's decision regarding Naira's discharge.

As he stood there, his phone rang, displaying the caller as Veer. Kartik answered quickly, his voice laced with both weariness and urgency.

Kartik: (softly, over the phone) Veer, it's me... Kartik.

Veer: (concerned) Kartik? What's going on? Where are you? Why haven't you called?

Kartik: (rushed) I'm at the hospital, Veer. I'll explain everything, but I need you to come here.

Veer: (worried) Hospital? Are you okay, Kartik? What happened?

Kartik: (trying to calm Veer) I'm fine, Veer, physically at least. But there's a lot you need to know. Can you come over? It's important.

Veer: (hesitating) Alright, I'll be there as soon as I can. Just... just hang in there, Kartik.

As Kartik ended the call, he felt a surge of relief. Veer was on his way, and he trusted his friend would help him make sense of the tumultuous events of the past few days.

INT. Hospital Corridor - Moments Later

A short while later, Veer rushed into the hospital corridor, his face etched with concern. He spotted Kartik and hurried over to him, the two friends embracing tightly, as if they hadn't seen each other in years.

Kartik: (emotionally) Veer, I... I can't believe you're here.

Veer: (patting Kartik's back) Of course, I'm here, Kartik. Now, what's going on? Why are you in the hospital?

Kartik motioned for Veer to sit down on a nearby bench, and he began recounting the series of events that had led them to this moment.

Kartik: (exhaling) It's a long story, Veer, but I'll try to sum it up. You remember when I called you all and told I am here in Paris with a friend named Shravan?

Veer: yes, why?

Kartik: I was forced by naira to come here in Paris because if I would stay there in India, I would have told everyone about there location and all. Then they forced me to call you all and say I was fine. That time I wasn't fine but I am now. Coz I am in love Veer. In love with this underworld don Naira.

Veer: (incredulous) What? Kartik, are you serious?

Kartik: (nodding) Dead serious. But it's not what it seems, Veer. She's involved in some... dangerous stuff. She's a mafia don, and there's more to her than meets the eye. We managed to escape, and now we're here, living under fake identities.

Veer: (stunned) A mafia don? And you escaped? Kartik, this is insane!

Kartik: (earnestly) I know it sounds crazy, Veer, but there's more. I've fallen in love with her, Veer. Despite everything, I love her.

Veer's eyes widened, his surprise evident, but he could see the sincerity in Kartik's face.

Veer: (slowly) Kartik, this is... complicated. But if you love her, I trust your judgment. We'll figure this out together.

Kartik: Veer, can I talk to maa and papa. Video call them I guess.

Veer calls Manish and they are relieved to see Kartik in a safe condition.

As they sat in the hospital corridor, the weight of their shared secrets and uncertain future pressed upon them. Kartik knew that with Veer by his side, they'd navigate this complex journey together, wherever it might lead.

INT. Hospital Room - Day

The doctor finally arrived with the good news.

Doctor: (smiling) She's stable, and you can take her home now. Just make sure she gets plenty of rest.

Kartik breathed a sigh of relief, grateful that Naira was going to be okay. They quickly gathered Naira's belongings and made their way back to the hotel.

INT. Hotel Room - Evening

The soft glow of the hotel room's warm lighting enveloped Kartik and Naira as they sat beside each other on the bed. The gentle hum of the city outside seemed to fade away, leaving them in their own cocoon of intimacy.

Kartik continued to look at Naira with a profound tenderness that was both comforting and disarming. He had seen her at her most vulnerable, yet he didn't judge her; instead, he offered her understanding and support.

Kartik: (whispering) You know, Naira, I've never met anyone like you before. You might see yourself as heartless, but I see strength, resilience, and a heart that's been through a lot. I admire your determination.

Naira's eyes glistened with unshed tears as she listened to Kartik's words. His voice was like a soothing balm to her wounded soul.

Naira: (voice barely above a whisper) You don't know the things I've done, Kartik. The lives I've taken, the darkness I've embraced... I don't know if I can ever change.

Kartik reached out and gently took her hand in his, his touch conveying a sense of warmth and reassurance. He stared into her eyes, as if trying to convey the depth of his feelings.

Kartik: (softly) Naira, we all make mistakes. We all have things we wish we could undo. But it's never too late to start over, to make amends. Your past doesn't have to define your future.

Naira's shoulders trembled as the weight of her past sins bore down on her. Her voice quivered as she spoke.

Naira: (tearfully) Kartik, I don't even know where to begin. The people I've hurt, the darkness that surrounds me... Can you really accept all of that?

Kartik didn't hesitate. He leaned in closer, his eyes locked onto hers, and his words were filled with an unwavering commitment.

Kartik: (firmly) Naira, I can't change your past, but I can stand by your side as you create a new future. I see the good in you, the potential for something better. You don't have to carry this burden alone anymore.

Moved by his words, Naira allowed herself to lean into Kartik's comforting embrace. He held her close, his arms enveloping her in a cocoon of warmth and security. It was in that moment that she realized she wasn't alone anymore, that someone believed in her, flaws and all.

Naira: (softly) Thank you, Kartik. For not giving up on me.

Kartik held her even tighter, his voice filled with unwavering determination.

Kartik: (whispering) Never, Naira. I'll always be here for you, no matter what.

As they sat there, the weight of Naira's past slowly began to feel a little lighter, and the prospect of a new beginning felt a little more attainable. In each other's presence, they found solace, understanding, and the hope of a brighter tomorrow.
