Weeks of tireless pursuit had led me down a path littered with false hopes and dashed expectations. The weight of my duty pressed heavily upon my shoulders, pushing me ever closer to the dreaded destination I had been avoiding: Feldcraft. The mere thought of returning to that place, haunted by memories and the ghosts of our past, sent a shiver down my spine.

The night sky stretched out above me, its dark canvas adorned with twinkling stars that offered a glimmer of hope. Determination fueled my every step as I ventured into the unknown, guided by whispers of Sebastian's whereabouts.

I searched through Feldcraft and the home once shared by Sebastian, Anne and their uncle Solomon. The moon cast a pale glow over the desolate landscape as I stood before the abandoned Feldcraft Cottage. It had been years since I last set foot in this place, haunted by memories of happier times and the echoes of betrayal. But if there was any chance of finding Sebastian, I knew I had to confront the ghosts of our past.

With each step through the overgrown garden, my heart grew heavier. The once vibrant flowers now wilted, I approached the imposing oak doors, their weathered surface bearing the scars of time.

Pushing the doors open, I entered the dark foyer, casting Lumos that brought a light glow to the room. Dust particles danced in the air as I ventured further into the silent halls, my footsteps echoing in the emptiness. It was as if the very walls held their breath, anticipating my arrival.

Memories flooded my mind, both bitter and sweet. I could almost hear the laughter that once filled these halls, the warmth of family gatherings and shared moments. But those memories were tainted by the knowledge of what had transpired, the pain that tore us apart.

I made my way to the study, where Sebastian and I had spent countless hours immersed in his research. It was a place of secrets, where the lines between right and wrong blurred. As I stood there, the room seemed frozen in time, untouched by the passage of years.

My gaze fell upon the shelves lined with books, their spines worn and weathered. It was in these pages that Sebastian and I had sought knowledge, unlocking the mysteries of magic together. But now, those books stood as silent witnesses to the shattered bond between us.

Searching for any clue that might lead me closer to Sebastian, I meticulously combed through the belongings left behind. Old photographs, letters, and artifacts held fragments of our shared history, each piece unraveling a part of the enigma that was Sebastian Sallow.

With every item I examined, emotions surged within me. I was transported back to the days when love still bloomed between us, the innocence of youth and the promise of a future together. But those hopeful dreams were shattered, replaced by the harsh reality of betrayal and imprisonment.

Leaving the study behind, I ventured deeper into the house, tracing the echoes of our past. In the bedrooms, I found remnants of a life left behind—clothing worn and discarded, personal mementos imbued with memories, and faded photographs capturing moments of happiness that seemed worlds away.

I stepped into Anne's room, my heart ached for the sister who had become collateral damage in our tumultuous journey. Her absence was a constant reminder of the pain we had inflicted upon each other. I could only hope that she had found solace and healing in the aftermath of our shattered lives. I had opened the repository, wielding a ancient and dangerous magic. I was able to with drawl the curse that flowed through her veins. Still Anne resented me, she had lost her brother and blamed me for helping him lose his soul in search of a cure. Not long after Sebastian had been sent to Azkaban did she disappear without so much as even a goodbye. She hadn't even told Ominis a single word of her departure.

I left the darkness of the abandoned house and stepped out into the moonlit night, a sense of both relief and uncertainty washed over me. The cool breeze whispered through the trees. Pulling my hood over my long, blonde hair, I took a deep breath, preparing myself for the next phase of my journey.
