The sound of Sebastian's grunts reverberated through the small cave, echoing off the stone walls as he diligently pushed himself through his morning workout routine. Each grunt was accompanied by the rhythmic thud of his fists hitting the ground, as if he were trying to physically release the pent-up frustrations that plagued his mind.
I tried to divert my attention to the book in my hands, desperately seeking solace in its pages, but my mind was shamelessly drawn to the irritating sounds that permeated the air. The relentless noise interrupted my concentration, taunting me with its persistence. It was as if the universe itself conspired to keep me tethered to the confines of this small, suffocating room.
With an exasperated sigh, I leaned back into the bed, pulling the covers off to assess the progress of my healing leg. The cuts that had marred my skin were gradually fading, thanks to the diligent care and healing spells administered by Sebastian each night. The swelling around my ankle had significantly decreased.
Despite the progress, aching soreness still lingered, but I was desperately in need of a bath. The scent of dirt clinging to Sebastian's shirt and the remnants of sweat from my own exertions were a constant reminder of my physical state, prompting a grimace to curl my lips as I discreetly sniffed myself.
I slowly pulled myself out of the bed, wincing at the slight discomfort that shot through my leg. Leaning against the coolness of the stone wall for support, I gingerly put as little weight as possible on my injured limb, careful not to aggravate the still tender muscles and bones. With measured steps, I made my way towards the entrance of the cave.
As I reached the opening, my eyes feasted upon the sight before me. Sebastian stood there, his shirt clinging to his well-defined form, glistening droplets of sweat cascading down his skin like liquid diamonds. Each movement he made was infused with a raw energy, a physicality that commanded attention and stirred a primal response within me.
Caught in the mesmerizing tableau, I found myself hovering at the entrance, momentarily forgetting the purpose of my venture.
There was an undeniable allure about him that was hard to ignore. The beads of sweat that adorned his forehead and ran down his sculpted chest, glistening in the light, added an air of raw masculinity to his already captivating figure. His muscles flexed with each push-up, showcasing a strength that went beyond the physical.
A part of me couldn't help but appreciate his ruggedness, the way his disheveled hair fell across his forehead, the intensity that emanated from his every move. Despite the trials he had faced, there was an undeniable magnetism in his appearance, a certain charm that was impossible to resist. I found myself shamelessly gawking at him, my heart fluttering with an inexplicable attraction.
Though I tried to divert my attention, my eyes continued to linger on his form, appreciating every contour, every ripple of muscle. It was a visceral reaction, a primal response to the sheer magnetism that he exuded. In that moment, I couldn't deny the undeniable truth—I found him undeniably sexy.
"Do you like what you see?" Sebastian's teasing voice broke the air, accompanied by the sound of him standing up and removing his loose shirt. Heat rushed to my cheeks, and I instinctively looked away, attempting to regain composure. My hands nervously fiddled with the hem of my shirt as I felt the weight of embarrassment settle upon me.
Caught off guard by his sudden revelation, I struggled to find words. I could feel his gaze upon me, his eyes seemingly dancing with mischief. I must have appeared disheveled and flustered, my previous state of composure shattered by his playful comment. I tried to smooth out my hair in an attempt to make myself look not as crazy.
"I need a bath," I stammered, my gaze darting anywhere but at his glistening abs. The proximity between us only intensified my awareness of his sculpted physique, and I fought to keep my focus on the task at hand.
