Sebastian held me in his arms, and time seemed to stand still as we basked in eachothers warmth as we reminisced on our days gone by. The hours slipped away effortlessly, filled with laughter, tender kisses, and heartfelt conversations. With each passing moment, our connection deepened, reaffirming the love and passion we had for one another. True to his promise, Sebastian made every moment count, making our time together feel like an eternity of bliss. Hours of passion had left my body sore and exhausted, but it was completely worth it.
As the sun began its descent, casting a golden glow across the room, Sebastian rested his head in my lap while I lovingly ran my fingers through his curls. His eyes closed, and I admired the delicate flutter of his dark lashes against his skin. A sense of serenity washed over us, yet the reality of our situation lingered in the back of my mind.
"We should return," I whispered softly, my voice barely audible.
Sebastian's eyes widened, a flicker of concern crossing his face. "Back to the fortified cave." I clarified. My fingers caressed his cheek. "It's safer there than remaining here," I reassured him, a hint of longing in my voice.
A sigh of relief escaped him as his eyes closed once more, a serene smile gracing his lips. "Is that what you desire?" he murmured.
I leaned down, pressing my lips against his freckled skin, my voice a mere whisper. "Yes," I confessed, "For now." I knew this blissful moment that we have found cannot last forever. Eventually we will have to go back and face the danger that awaits us.
With a groan, Sebastian rose from his seated position, towering over me in the cramped cave. He swiftly put on his button-up shirt, leaving it open, showcasing his toned physique. Extending his hand towards me, I gratefully slipped my hand into his, allowing him to guide me to my feet. My legs felt like jelly, and I stumbled forward, finding myself pressed against his chest. A giggle escaped him, and I couldn't help but feel a tinge of embarrassment.
"Oh, hush," I hissed, my cheeks flushed with a mixture of desire and self-consciousness.
His eyes gleamed with mischief, a conceited smirk gracing his lips. "You know what they say, darling," he teased.
I rolled my eyes, feigning annoyance. "No, Sallow, enlighten me. What do they say?"
A mischievous twinkle danced in his eyes as he leaned closer, his voice dripping with playful arrogance. "Once you go Sallow, you're gonna need a wheelchair."
I playfully slapped his shoulder, my cheeks flushing with a deeper shade of pink. I couldn't help but laugh, the sound echoing through the cave. "You're insufferable," I retorted, my eyes sparkling with amusement.
He shrugged nonchalantly, a smirk still playing on his lips. "But you love me anyway."
I feigned a thoughtful expression, tapping my chin with my finger. "Hmm, love might be a strong word. Let's go with tolerate."
His eyes widened in mock offense. "Just tolerate? After all the charm, orgasms and irrisistability I bring into your life?"
I chuckled, stepping closer to him and running a finger along his chest. "Fine, fine. I'll upgrade it to 'endure with a hint of affection'."
Sebastian let out a dramatic sigh. "Well, I suppose I'll take what I can get. You are rather irresistible yourself, my dear Ophelia."
I tilted my head, a playful glint in my eyes. "Is that so? And what makes me so irresistible, pray tell?"
He leaned in, his lips hovering near my ear. "It's the way your eyes light up when you're passionate about something. It's the way your laughter fills the air and brings warmth to my soul. It's the way your touch ignites a fire within me." His hands cupped under my bum and lifted me into the air, so I was pressed against him. His lips planted sweet, playful kisses all over my face, causing bursts of laughter to escape from me. I squirmed and squealed with delight, feeling weightless and carefree in his embrace.
