I sat for hours, tears running down my face as the realization of what I had done had sunk in. I had chained Sebastian up. Guilt overwhelmed me, no matter how many times I tried to reason with myself that this is what I needed to do. Sebastian had answers and he refused to tell me.
After awhile He began to stir, my spell slowly unfreezing him. "Ophelia," He spoke. His voice raspy.
"Sebastian." I forced myself to sound firm, "I have questions and I know that you have answers so tell me."
A cocky grinned marked his lips, "Why would I do that Ophelia."
I rolled my eyes, "Because I'm the one in control here, you're the one chained up. Wandless."
"I'm not completely wandless," He cheekily grinned, looking down towards his groin. I had put his boxers on, so he wouldn't be naked during my interrogation. For being tied up and at a disadvantage he still was completely arrogant and cheeky.
I rolled my eyes, scoffing. "Be serious for one minute Sebstian or I'll tighten those vines around your wrists." I threatened.
"I recall having you tied up under me, many times before." He smirked.
Blush spread across my face. "Stop that Sebastian."
"Why?" His eyes looked over my body, "Am I making you flustered?"
"No," I scoffed, "It-it's just that you're ignoring my questions."
He smiled teasingly, "You haven't asked me a question yet."
I inwardly groaned, "Why did you bring me here." I spat.
He raised his eyebrow, "I already told you that."
I crossed my arms, "I want the truth Sebastian."
"I did it to protect you."
I rolled my eyes, "I said the truth Sebastian."
His laugh reverberated through the cave. Taunting me. "Fine, don't believe me."
"Whose Madame?"
His eyes darkened, "I don't know."
"You're lying." I spat.
"I'm not!"
"What about the men in the forest? Are you working for them?"
"No." He looked away refusing to meet my gaze.
"I don't believe you," I whispered.
He raised his head, his eyes blazing as he glared at me. "fine than don't" He growled.
I groaned loudly, pacing back and forth, running my hands through my hair in frustration. "Why are you so stubborn Sebastian."
"Funny you once said that was my most enduring quality."
I faced him, my hand raising with his wand in my hand. "I ought to hex you for all the lies and shit you put me through Sebastian Sallow."
He grinned smugly, "Do it, Ophelia."
My eyes widened in shock. "Do it," He chanted, "Hex me, curse me, whatever you want I deserve all of it."
Pissed off I stormed over to him, raising the wand to his neck as I panted against him. Anger and frustration coursing through my veins. "Do it," He whispered against my ear, causing shiver to run down my spine. My eyes blazed as I took him in. The curve of his muscles, the way his hair hung damply against his skin. I wanted him so badly. I tried to shake away those thoughts of how alluring he looked when we were clearly in the middle of something.
Suddenly he leaned in his lips crashing down on mine. The surge of conflicting emotions overwhelmed me as Sebastian's lips tangled with mine. In that moment, anger and desire collided, creating an intoxicating blend that left me breathless. My body reacted instinctively, my fingers releasing their grip on the wand as they tangled in his hair, pulling him closer.
His kiss was passionate, filled with frustration and longing. It was as if our lips were engaged in a battle of their own, fighting for dominance, seeking solace amidst the chaos. I melted into the intensity, losing myself in the taste and feel of him, momentarily forgetting the doubts and the questions that had consumed me.
I pulled away gasping, slapping him across his face. His face eluded arrogance, he bit his swollen lip, looking me up from head to toe. "I knew getting you that nightgown was a good idea."
My face turned an even brighter shade of red. "What the hell are you playing at Sebastian? You won't answer my questions, instead you keep flirting with me and then you kiss me."
"What, you didn't like it?"
I gasped, "No of course not I-"
"Is that why you're blushing and kissed me back?" He interrupted.
Groaning, I leaned back in so my lips were tracing along his ear teasing him, "Don't forget you're the one tied up right now Sebastian."
He smiled, leaning in to kiss me again, but I quickly pulled away. "Goodbye Sallow."
"Ophelia?" He questioned, as I walked away. "Ophelia come back you can't go alone of there! Ophelia!" He screamed after me.
I turned around and blew him a kiss, "The vines will release you in a few hours. Have fun." And with that I left, with Sebastian screaming at me to come back. I should turn him in, it is my job after all as an auror, but I didn't have the heart to do it.
