Y/n's pov:

After me and Rin separated, I made my way over to my friends table and immediately got pulled down by Itsuki, who was seemingly full of energy and excitement. She quickly began to explain our plans for tonight talking about a girls night for us, and I could feel the enthusiasm radiate from her, as she talked about everything she had in store for us. I just smiled and listened, even feeling a bit surprised and caught off guard by all of these plans. After she was done, Yumeko slightly nudged me in my side and started talking, commenting about how I seemed to have some boys wrapped around my finger.

Yumeko's words made me blush a bit, and I could feel that she noticed. "Well, I do tend to be pretty good looking," I said out trying to hold in my laughter, with a bit of light-hearted sarcasm. I am not one to brag, but I do like to joke around and tease my friends for fun. She also gave me a bit of a teasing look, slightly tilting her head referring to Rin. But before she could say anything else, Itsuki interrupted saying "Alright girlypops, enough talk, Let's eat dinner I'm starving"

"Alright, Itsuki, you definitely know how to keep us entertained," I remarked, still chuckling. "I don't think anyone can match your energy!" Itsuki playfully bowed, accepting the imaginary award for her entertaining performance. "Thank you, thank you," she exclaimed, giggling. "I'm the funniest here, after all!" We continued to share laughs and jokes throughout the evening, cherishing the bond we had as friends.

After this dinner ended we decided to split up to get the remaining things needed for our girls night. Itsuki and Mary went to get the spa product while me and Yumeko went together to the convenient store to get the snacks.

Me and Yumeko headed to the convenience store to grab some snacks and drinks. The day has been fun and exciting so far, and we're both in high spirits as we were walking around the store and chatting about everything that happened. We suddenly spotted Isagi by some vending machine inside the store. My spirits slowly sank as I felt both a little nervous and awkward. Yumeko seemed to notice my discomfort and gave me a sly grin. While

wiggling her brows yet still seeming to understand that this was an embarrassing moment for me.

Yumeko excused herself away to grab some more snacks, leaving me alone with Isagi. As soon as I realized what she was trying to do. I felt my face slowly turn red and Isagi already noticed me. Unsure of what to do. Still trying to process everything from Yumeko's earlier teasing, and now to top it all off, Isagi stopped me before I could slip away, his presence only making my stomach feel all fluttery as he suddenly spoke to me. "Hi, Y/N," he says gently, that small smile of his making my heart do backflips. My mind seems to go blank at this moment, and all I could do is to give him a faint smile back in return while I tried to calm myself down a little bit. While Isagi's words continued to sound like complete gibberish in my head. He was looking straight into my eyes, but he seemed hesitant for some reason. What was he hesitating about? I wondered what he was hesitating about.

While I was slightly in thought, Isagi took a step closer to me, forcing me to tilt my head upwards and meet his eyes. The warmth that I felt before is suddenly replaced with a different sensation, one that I can't quite describe. "You look quite uncomfortable," he says. "Have I done something wrong?" He asked brows furrowing a bit. Why was he asking me that, was I really that obvious? I wanted to tell him it's nothing, but I didn't know how to say it. I just wanted to get outta this awkward situation without making it more awkward. I attempted to sidestep him, but he simply grabbed my hand. Making me slightly but not completely jerk away from his cold hands, finding myself staring at the floor again, unable to regain my composure in this awkward situation. While Isagi didn't say anything, he was still holding my hand in his cold one, taking a step closer.

My heart flutters again when Isagi gets up closer and gets up more into my personal space. My face turned even more red in response, but he didn't seem to notice. As he was too busy looking serious, before asking me. "Y/n what am I to you ?" I stood there in front of him, just as I opened my mouth wanting to answer his question. My phone blew up with lots of notifications from Itsuki and Mary telling me and Yumeko to hurry up. Still standing there in front of Isagi. I decided to take a look at my phone, freeing my hand from his and excusing myself to read the messages. After a brief moment of silence reading a few of those notifications, I tell him that I could better get back now anyway. His face looked a bit upset at that, but soonly changed as he offered to walk me back to my dorm, but I refused, saying that I've got Yumeko with me for that. He looked slightly disappointed at my response but seemed to understand my reasoning. Seeing the disappointment on Isagi's face, I couldn't help but feel a pang of guilt for turning down his offer to walk me back. It was clear that he had hoped for a chance to spend more time together. As I stood there, his question from earlier echoeing in my mind, and suddenly it hit me with a wave of realization. Why did he ask me what he is to me? Was there something more to his feelings than I had initially thought? The pieces of the puzzle started coming together, and I began to understand the meaning behind his words.

Before Isagi could turn away, a surge of emotion and determination welled up within me. Without thinking twice, I reached out and tightly embraced him, holding onto him as if my life depended on it. "I'm sorry," I muttered softly, my voice filled with sincerity. Isagi's face displayed confusion as he tried to comprehend the sudden hug. Just as he was about to respond, I interrupted him, not wanting to let my nerves get the best of me. With a nervous tone in my voice, I posed a direct question, searching for the truth. "Do you think I'm just messing around with you?" His eyes met mine, his expression a mix of surprise and contemplation. It was clear that he was taken aback by my sudden outpouring of emotions.

He just stared at me, his expressions seemed to show that he was thinking in deep focus, while trying to find an answer to what you had just asked him. He seemed a little nervous to give his answer, and his face was full of curiosity as he was watching me closely. He seems to be very serious about his answer, making me more nervous. He didn't respond

"Isagi are you okay?" I asked, "You don't need to answer if you don't want to" I said

His gaze remained fixed on me, his eyes revealing a lot, as he was making up his response. It was evident that my question had stirred something within him, causing him to search for the right words. The silence stretched on, making my nerves intensify with each passing second. Concerned by his lack of immediate reply, I gently reached out and placed a hand on his arm. "Isagi, are you okay?" I asked, my voice filled with genuine worry. I wanted to assure him that he didn't have to answer if he wasn't ready or comfortable doing so.

He continued to stare at me for a moment, before suddenly breaking the silence with a slight chuckle. "Of course not," he repeated, his face showing a slight smile. We both continued to stare at each other for a moment more, and then his expression changed as he seemed to realize something. He raised

his eyebrows surprised, and suddenly he seemed very happy as his smile grew a bit more. "I have a question you have to answer honestly though," he said, his smile now full of excitement. I felt my ears start to turn red once more as he seems to be enjoying my reaction.

"Do you really like me?" he said. Isagi's unexpected question caught me completely off guard. My mind raced to process his words, and I found myself feeling flustered and a little overwhelmed. My heart began to beat rapidly in my chest, and a wave of nervousness washed over me as I struggled to find the right words to respond. It felt like time stood still as I locked eyes with Isagi, my mind going blank and leaving me speechless. Isagi, ever perceptive, noticed my flustered state and a playful grin curved his lips. He seemed to relish in my reaction, his gaze fixed on me with intensity.
