"C'mon, Y/N Cookie! We need to make sure Mama doesn't find us!" Princess Cookie called out to you.
You stared at her, worry glinting in your eyes as she sped up and was soon too far ahead to catch up to.

"W-wait! Princess Cookie! I can't catch up! Gahhhh!!!" You wailed, stretching your arms in front of you, only to be swiftly picked up by...

Princess Cookie's mother, Jungleberry Cookie.

She carefully placed you down and told you to stay where you were while she tried to catch her daughter. You huffed and sat down with a grumpy frown. All you wanted to do was have fun and go on adventures all around Earthbread. But you were confined to the palace since your parents were missing and were probably crumbled into many tiny pieces.

"Princess Cookie, dear. You can't just run off like that!" You heard Jungleberry Cookie scolding your friend and carrying her.

"But Mama! Me and Y/N Cookie just want to have fuuuun..!" She whined angrily, wiggling around in her mother's grasp as if she was a little Jelly worm.

"Well, I'm afraid you two little deary's can't do what you call 'fun'. Real fun could be participating in events! Or doing some drawings! And all of that can be done within the palace gates." Jungleberry Cookie said, very sternly.

You siged miserably and flopped onto your back. "But that's all gonna be absolutely boringggg!!!" You groaned.

"Yeah! Listen to my friend!" Princess Cookie agreed with you, sitting down beside you with a sharp nod of her head.

Jungleberry Cookie sighed. "When will I ever get some sense into your tiny heads..?" She stared at the two of you, pondering on what to do next. Then it came to her.
"How about I get you girls a pet!"

You exchanged an excited glance with Princess Cookie, and both of you began to shake uncontrollably.
"EEEEEEEEE!!!!!" You both squealed.

"Now, wait just a minute!" Jungleberry Cookie interrupted you. "Only one of you will get a pet, but I can trust you two to share and treat the pet kindly. But as I said before, only one of you will own the pet entirely."

"But Mama, who will get it?" Princess Cookie asked, tilting her head.
"And what type of pet will it be?" You continued for her.

"Perhaps a... P/T?" Jungleberry Cookie suggested.

"Yes, yes, yes! A P/T sounds absolutely sweetly perfect!" You squeaked, sitting up and bouncing around.

"Wonderful! Problem solved. Y/N Cookie will be getting the P/T since she's a lot more... sensible," Jungleberry Cookie said, picking you and Princess Cookie up. "Come on, I'll send a guard with you two to a pet store."

"Yay!" You both cheered.

So Jungleberry Cookiet assigned a guard to the both of you and soon arrived at the nearest pet store at the Grandberry Market. The gardener was quite fond of you and always practically melted whenever you gave him a complement or encouragement. Princess Cookie always tried to give a friendly speech but sadly didn't have time to do so and was dragged along forward.

"Look, look!" Princess Cookie whispered to you. "There it is! A P/T!"

You both slammed your faces up against the glass and stared in awe at all the pets inside. There were cats, cakehounds, birds, and all other kinds of animals too! The P/T was the last one to be sold there.

You walked inside with Princess Cookie following close after. You peered through the little gaps of the fence as all the pets ran around or stared at you. Some even walked up to you.

"Awww! I wish I could adopt all of you cutie wuties," you cooed.
"Same!" Princess Cookie said, appearing next to you.

The P/T wandered close to you and peered into your eyes, then licked your face, causing you to giggle.
"Haha! S-stop it cute little P/T! That t-tickles!"

The Cookie at the counter walked up to you and carefully nudged back the P/T.
"I see they've found a friend!" The Cookie said, smiling. "Perhaps you'd like to adopt them?"

"Yes, please! I would love to!" You exclaimed, smiling back in pure joy. Princess Cookie hugged you.

Later, you exited the pet store with a loyal friend in your arms, ready for fun and adventures, just like you and Princess Cookie.

"Wow! You're super lucky, Y/N Cookie! I wish my Mama allowed me to have a pet, just like you!" Princess Cookie looked at the happy P/T nuzzling into the crook of your arm. "It would be so cool!"

"Maybe one day," you calmly reassured her, giving her a soft pat on the back with a free arm.

"Awww. You're the bestest friend I could ever ask for!" Princess Cookie cooed at you.

"It's no problem!" You replied cheerfully. "But... what should we name the P/T?"

"How about... P/N?"

"Perfect!"

And together, you walked back home.
