The studio has been my home lately. The bulk of my performances has been in local bars and hotels. Something fantastic is happening though! I'm getting to perform covers at a local amphitheater in my hometown! I was not raised in Nashville Tennessee. I was raised in Ohio!
So I'll be taking the flights home. To go perform for my hometown in front of all the people I grew up with, and around. To perform for my grandparents and my school friends. Best of all, I hear Tyler and Bruno are back in town as well.
So not only do I get to perform in my hometown, I get to nonchalantly tell the whole city how I feel about both Bruno and Tyler. I'll also be performing a rendition of "Fifteen" by Taylor Swift. Where I'll be singing it to Makayla, in a context fitting Mario and her.
Mario is originally from California. Then Makayla met him when we lived in our home state of Ohio. Then he moved out to Nashville as well when we all went. After their breakup he moved back to Ohio and in with his mother. He's still a crybaby mommy's boy bitch.
"Are you ready to go?" I yell to Makayla as I'm sitting on my luggage, trying to squish it down to a size that can zip. To a size that is appropriate enough to walk through the airport with. My body weight, however, is not doing the trick.
"Makayla!" I screamed after not hearing a peep from her. Addison comes waddling into the room. I pick her up and plop her on my lap trying to use her extra bodyweight to push my suitcase closed. It did the trick! It finally zipped all the way closed! Finally!
"Thank you, baby girl!" I exclaimed setting Addison down on the floor. Where her little feet smack off the floor, waddling away from the room. She's drooling everywhere like it's her job. As well as she's holding whatever random object she could have found, smashing it in between her very new teeth.
Soon I realize she has my hair brush. Usually, I would allow her to have it. But because we're leaving I need to make sure it's packed and put away. So that I don't forget it and leave it behind. Being stuck without a brush for god knows how long.
When we go to Ohio for the first show of my yet-to-be-announced tour, we're staying there for a week. To be able to catch up with the people who are necessary. Like friends, we left behind, as well as extended family members and grandparents there. We're excited to go.
The tour is going to be announced at midnight tonight. It of course does kick off in my hometown, but picks up a week later in Cleveland an hour away from my hometown. So that I can enjoy my time with some family members and old friends of mine.
Once I chased Addison around my room, wrestling her for my brush... I finally get it from her after twenty minutes. Our flight is in three hours. The airport is an hour away. So we really need to get going. Quickly I place Addison on my hip and go to Makayla's bedroom.
When I enter into Makayla's room, I find her sprawled out in her bed. Snoring with her vibrator near her on the floor next to her bed. She clearly was up late partying. "Makayla," I said and kicked the sex toy under the bed to prevent Addison from getting a hold of it. Then let her pounce Makayla.
"Mhm." Makayla mumbles and groans into her pillow. Then pulling it closer to her. Passed out as if she had a rager last night. Dramatic. "Makayla we need to leave for the airport," I say and lightly run my hand up and down her back comfortingly. Trying to get her to wake up in a good mood.
"Ugh." Makayla groans again hugging her pillow even closer to her than before. Refusing to get up. Typical Makayla. She is not the most pleasant person to wake up in the morning. Ever.
"Come on Makayla," I say. "We need to get to the airport. Don't you want to go back to Ohio? Maybe... Matthew will be in town. Maybe you two can see where things stand between the two of you. Maybe get a little.... A little ass while you're there too." I teased Makayla.
