"Ugh--Hey!"
"What the--"
Lianna and Collins were pushed from the portal, they both hit their heads to... sand?
"A desert? Just suddenly in the middle of nowhere?" Lianna complained as they looked at their surroundings. Just sand, cacti, rocks, caves, nothing special. Though it was windy and sand was getting into their eyes. "Ugh! Why are we brought here?" Collins protected his face with his arms. Both of them had squinted eyes as the wind was getting stronger each passing seconds. "Another important event, maybe." Lianna answered since she knows no one would answer him. Lianna then remembered her goggles and put them on, lucky her Collins was envious. Lianna grabbed Collins' arm as they navigated through the sandstorm. Until it got heavy, Lianna was getting tired even though they only walked a couple of centimeters from their spawning point.
There it is.
The heavy presence, she can sense it.
A terrifying creature suddenly screeched. It was loud and the two had to duck and cover their ears due to the sound piercing through their brain. It was painful. Lianna heavily raised her head, she saw a large worm--sandworm maybe-- and a group surrounding it. In an instant, she recognized the group despite seeing only silhouettes in her goggles.

MEANWHILE...
Dr. Vishnu went up to the portal, he gazed at it and noticed its every detail.
He snickered. He then walked outside of the room, and the building. He looked at the sky, "Red, heh." he had a vicious smile plastered on his face."She found it, exellent. And now she is in the process... Of reviving her."
Vishnu reminisced of Lianna before she went off.
Dr. Vishnu noticed that Lianna was holding a pocket watch she picked up from the corner of the testing room. He watched her silently as she came curious of it. He watched her every move, listened to her every word. Even on that meeting, he knew the watch and the portal was affecting her. He tried to appear as open, kind, and respectful as possible as he couldn't hide his vile joy from it.
Seeing her suffer, it was like a show for him...
It was HIM who put the watch from the corner. He camouflaged it so others wouldn't see it. He wanted to test what the watch had in relation to the portal, to see of placing it near the machine would spark any reaction. But apparently it didn't, but instead got the attention of the young woman.
He knew she questioned everything and anything about its existence. And it was truly questionable how it got there-or in his hands-in the first place.
The Pocket Watch was from his visit in the Enchanted Cave, 35 years ago. He was simply on a vacation when he stumbled upon it. He became curious of it--like Lianna-- and it consumed him. He told his wife numerous times of his nightmares about it but she didn't believe him. She simply pushed her off as "crazy" or "insane". It devoured his soul, his sight turned dark and when he opened it, he saw his hands red. It gave him chills down his spine simply remembering it. He ran from the police, him holding the watch, he then goes into a cave. He stayed there.
As time went by, he had multiple nightmared about the mysterious Red Demon Woman. "Vishnu..." she kept calling him.
He squeezed his eyes shut.
"I am the one calling your name...
I, in the name of violence...""STOP!!" He shouted from his makeshift bed. He became uncomfortable of this lifestyle. He ran away from India and went to Bhutan. He did numerous crimes such as theft, arson robbery etc. After his life went a little stable, he went to America and came back to his job as a scientist.
He also recalled how he was bombarded with the newsies after his months of silence as people thought he was dead. But what comes with sympathy also comes suspicions. There were many people suspecting he was the killer. But he still evaded those and managed to sway off the news. Now he lives in a quiet life, yet disturbed by the watch. He saw a connection of the portal and the watch so he tested it numerous times.
The portal was from an excavation years ago by the Laboratory. And through the course of his years, he met Collins, James, Naoko, Kate. He met great people. Then comes the one that perked his interest -- Lianna, though he set that aside. He didn't expect she would be the one to pick up the madness.
"Its all getting well isn't it?" a silky yet seductive voice of a woman said. After all those reminiscing, Vishnu maintained his eyes om the sky, ignoring his neck pain.
"It is, my dear." he replied.
It was truly insanity.
"Let's just wait for her..." a figure of red smoke hugged him from behind. She breathed,
"Just a little more time, and we can be together..."
After all those nightmares, the woman of red clothing was the only one who treated him right. Though he can only see her during memories. They both fell for each other.
"You are... the fire that keeps me going on, my dear."
And with that, he went in the building. The sky was still red, it made people terrified.
"I am the one calling your name...!"
