Collins ran away. He was wearing a white shirt and pants, at least decent he supposed. Though, he was wearing slippers as he went outside Dr. Vishnu's house, who cares anyway?
He went to the Laboratory, "Oh hey Col--" James greeted him but was cut off. Collins grabbed his shoulders with a frazzled and jumpy expression, he asked, "Tell me, how many days since I was gone?!" more like shouted. "Whoa! Calm down dude! Well, you must be in a fun time with Lia, eh?" he smirked as he noticed his outfit, but Collins wasn't in the mood, "Just tell me already!" he was grabbing James with his collar, "Okay! Okay! You and Lianna have been gone for a day!" as soon as he released those words, Collins froze. A day? A cussing day?
"You must be messing with me," he gave him a sharp glare, so piercing he looked like he would rip his soul apart.
"No man! You've been gone for a day and a half! What has you troubled? Did Lianna cheat on you?" he left and ignored the last question.
Just a day and a half? How come? They were in a trip for weeks--months even! And yet here 1 day and a half? This is messed up. Bit he ignored the train of thoughts and went to the room of the portal, the person to greet him there was someone he wasn't expecting.
"Well, well, well. Look who we have here," Dr. Vishnu snickered, a spirit woman appeared behind him, the same spirit who he saw talk to him.
"A new fly in my endless web... What do you have in store here, boy? Tell me, what do you want?" she asked. This is all insanity, Collins too a step back, his bag wasn't there to help him, he haas his knife there too, in case of emergency. And now when it is, he doesn't have it. This is probably his most unlucky day.
"Step aside, I need the portal please." He tried to remain calm and be polite as possible, yet fury was boiling in him. "What have you done to Lianna?!"
"Oh wen didn't do anything,"
"It was entirely her fault."
The two snickered at poor Lianna's state. Collins glared at them, but only made them laugh even more. He narrowed his eyes and ran. The two stopped laughing for a second but cackled again. Although he was surprised that the dismantled portal is still not disposed yet.
"What an idiot!"
"He can't mess with us!"
"Whoa whoa there, buddy! What are you doing?" James and the other workers glanced at Collins. They gave him disgusted looks. Collins ignored James and the others and went back to the room of the portal. He was holding a metal pipe and took a small knife, as a backup weapon.
The others followed him, one even called the police as they thought Collins was out of his mind.
"Oh, you've returned. And now you've convinced your friends too? How pathetic." he threw them a dirty look. Collins pointed the pipe at him, "Why are you stopping me? Step aside!!" but the old scientist simply laughed, others joined in too. They thought he was crazy? Then he was going to prove them wrong, "Listen everyone! Me and Lianna have gone through a journey into history with the watch and the portal. I became separated to her," sorrow flashed his eyes but was immediately replaced by anger, "And this, this man. He plans something, and I tell you it isn't something you must be praising about. And also Lianna--she's in danger! I don't know what happened to her but please! Let us help her!" he pleaded. But no one listened. No one believed him.
"A-a ritual! A ritual will take place soon!"
"Lies! Dr. Vishnu isn't like that!" Michael justified, the old man smirked.
Several others followed him to side Dr. Vishnu, James also gave in to the protest. This wasn't supposed to happen. They didn't know who they were siding with--Oh, right. Hell right. They didn't know what was going on, what an idiot he is. This truth hit him hard. He stopped arguing with them and straightened up, facing Vishnu and looking straight into his soul.
"Step aside," he tried to stand tall, keep his cool and composure, "I'm going to save Lianna from your schemes, alone." he said with conviction and hard eyes. A dark aura lingered around him as he shook in fury.
The scientist frowned at him, "I am very disappointed of you Mr. Collins--" scowling Collins looked at him straight into his eyes, that once eyes of a young, calm and passionate man is now replaced of anger, sorrow and exhaustion. He figured he had hard feelings for Lianna thag he wanted to save her. Something that he himself doesn't have. Conviction. Determination. Courage. Loyalty. And he respected those aspects of him, so he finally stepped aside and let him go.
Collins walked at the portal with a hardened and dark expression. Dr. Vishnu looked down the floor with shame and the other workers were in shock and petrified into place. Collins flicked at the Watch socket, he knew this wasn't working yet he kept his cool as he was expecting to look like an idiot. But for once ever since the insanity of the watch, Fate let him leave. Magic surrounded the room and a bright light shone its way.
Collins disappeared from sight.
