"KATSUKI!"

Katsuki turned around when he heard his name being called, only to be met with a overly exerted girl, hanging over her knees.

When you caught your breath, you looked him in the eyes with a stern look on your face. Katsuki was nearly surprised at how dark your eye bags were and how puffy and red they were.

"Something...happened...with my quirk..and I had to tell you first."

You heaved in between words.

"Get on with it."

"Uh well..I can see, what I think, is ghosts. I just...saw them when I ran to the park this morning. I can see them everywhere."

He quirked an eyebrow, giving a look of disbelief and surprise.

"What the hell happened to have your quirk advance like that? Usually that only happens with a major rush of adrenaline or hardcore training? The fuck were you doing?!"

"I-I! I don't know!"

"The fuck do you mean you don't know!"

You didn't exactly want to tell him you freaked out over a nightmare and out of panic, ran to the park. Repeating it to yourself, it sounded kinda pitiful and to hell with anyone pitying you, you didn't need it.

Then again, this was Katsuki Bakugo, who you doubted would pity you anyway.

"I um...I had a really bad nightmare, and I woke up in a panic, and so I wanted to take a break and get fresh air, so I ran to the park, and when I stopped crying, a person who was pretty much clear stood in front of me and I found out her name was Allan and that she was a ghost and yeah...."

You rushed your words, trying to get whatever the hell you were talking about out before you started to trip over your own words. His face never changed to anything other than slight curiosity.

"Can you see them now?"

You looked around, mentally pointing out the differences between the ghosts and alive people. They had pretty obvious differences, as the alive people looked- well alive, and the ghosts had a slight transparency about them but still made it so their features could be made out. Though one ghost made you flinch slightly, it was the girl from yesterday, Allan. She wasn't doing anything, just laying in the middle of the road as cars passed right over her. It was weird but you didn't question it.

"Yeah, I can see them right now. Allan is lying in the road."

The ghost girl seemed to hear her name, as far as she was away from them, and she approached you. When she reached you, she gave a small smirk, looking between you and Katsuki.

"This your boyfriend? He's a cutie!"

"No! He isn't, he's just someone who is helping me get stronger."

A blush of embarrassment rose on your cheeks, as you shyly looked away from the ghost.

"The hell are you talking about."

"Oh, uh, I'm talking to Allan."

He looked at you like you were crazy. He argued with himself, thinking about how weird it's gonna be if you just start striking up conversations with ghosts.

"Is that all they can do? Just talk to you?"

He was genuinely interested now, not showing it on his face as he walked slouched and grumpily as usual. He had glanced over at you just to see you staring at nothing beside you, as if you were actually listening to someone. You were just full of surprises.
