A/N - The next 'chapter' contains a commission of Raelin.

Raelin POV.

'That sure were some interesting outlanders... Especially the boy Aether... There is something familiar about him, almost like her... The power of Anemo suddenly appeared. Up close it surrounded him. I should find and talk with that troublesome Anemo Archon.'

I made my way to the Temple of the Wolf near the Thousand Winds Temple, it was reported that Stormterror last was seen there. I heard that the Temple of the Wolf was devoted to the Wolf of the North. The priests are gone, and now the temple is occupied by monsters.

Aether POV.

'Whoever that woman was, she seemed quite familiar. It also seems that she might know something, but she was too hard to read. I think there's more to her than I think.'

After trying out my Anemo powers against some slimes, Paimon and I were headed towards Mondstadt. Suddenly a big shadow appeared on the field. We looked up and saw an enormous azure-blue creature soaring over us.

''Wow! What is that?! There's something huge, in the sky!'' Paimon said in amazement. ''It is headed towards the heart of the forest. We must be careful. It might be that dragon thing, that... uhm... woman talked about!''

I nodded in agreement and proceeded further.

We slowly walked through the forest until Paimon spoke. ''Huh? Look at that!''

I heard something like a purr, and ran behind a tree with Paimon behind me. We slowly peeked behind the tree and there we saw the azure creature from before. It was looking at a young boy with aqua-green eyes, and short black hair with short twin braids at the sides of his face. The boy was extending his hands towards the relaxed creature and seemed to talk to it.

''Don't be afraid. It's alright now, I'm back.'' the boy said to it.

''Is he talking... to a dragon?'' Paimon whispered to me.

Out of nowhere my Anemo power acted up a bit and startled the dragon. It growled at the boy and tried to attack him with his claws, but the boy managed to dodge the attack and glared at us. ''Who's there?!''

As the dragon began to fly away, the boy suddenly disapeared.

Raelin POV.

'' *Sigh* No sign of him in there. But there's something off about the temple...''

ROAR!

''A roar?! Could it be?!'' I looked towards the place where I heard the loud cry.

'There's no mistake!'

As I headed towards the roar, I saw him fly away. Just as I was about to follow him, someone got hold of my wrist. ''There's no use now. He's to worked up to relax right now.''

I turned around and saw that it was the Anemo Archon in his human form and stopped up.

''What happened?''

''My song got him to relax. But some traveler and a floating girl appeared and scared him away.''

''I see... Wait did you say traveler and a floating girl? Did they maybe look like this...'' I explained what I encountered the in Starfell Valley.

''An outlander with the power of Anemo interesting... Let's just keep a close eye on them.''

Aether POV.

''That was close! Paimon almost got blown away!'' Paimon sighed in relief. ''Luckily Paimon managed to grab hold of your hair. Thanks!''

''It's a good thing the dragon didn't notice us.''

''You're right. But, just what was that? Paimon thought we were gonna get eaten.'' Paimon said. ''And what's with that weirdo who was talking to the dragon...''

''I can't believe dragons exist in this world...''

''Yeah, Paimon gets why you're worried... Oh, what's that shiny red thingy over there...'' Paimon pointed at a red crystal on a big rock.

I climbed up the rock and we looked at the crystal. After observing it, we agreed to put it away for now, since Paimon said that it looked dangerous.

Third POV.

Aether and Paimon continued their way towards Mondstadt. But they were stopped up as they saw a long dark-brown haired girl jump from one big stone on the path.

''May the Anemo God protect you, stranger! I am Amber, Outrider for the Knights of Favonius.'' she spoke and saluted. ''You don't look like citizens of Mondstadt. Explain yourself!''

''We're not looking for trouble.'' Paimon tried to reassure her.

''That's what all the troublemakers say.'' Amber countered her.

''Hello, I'm Aether.''

''That doesn't sound like a local name to me. And this... mascot, what's the deal with it?''

''We are friends!'' Paimon exclaimed.

''So you are traveling partners. Listen, there's a large dragon sighted around the city recently. It's best to get inside the city as soon as possible. I'll escort you.''

During the walk to the city Amber asked in to why they were headed to Mondstadt, where Paimon explained Aether's situation regarding his sister. Amber offered to help putting posters around the city, when she was finished with her work.

As they arrived closer to the city, they encountered a few hilichurls and took care of them. Amber explained that lately they have been to close to the city. She also explained that since Stormterror arrived, it has been hitting the markets hard, and that the knights were doing the best they could to make sure that the city was safe.

Raelin sat on a branch and silently observed the Traveler and his flying companion.

The wind leaves on the tree began to move since it became a little windy, but Raelin knew that it wasn't just a mere wind.

''So, did you find about his whereabouts?'' Raelin looked on the branch above her and saw none other than the Anemo Archon.

''No~ He's far gone by now.''

''Are you sure that it's alright to leave the crystal with the Traveler?'' Raelin asked a little worried.

''For now it seems okay to do it.''

Raelin looked at him for a moment. ''If you say so, but I'll keep an extra eye on him and follow him around a little.'' Raelin informed and stood up. ''What are you going to do now?''

''It would ruin the surprise if I told you right away~'' he said childishly.

''Whatever you, don't make any trouble. I know that is has been awhile since you walked the earth. But please behave.'' Raelin tried to get through to him.

''You worry waaay to much, little Eli. I would never cause any trouble...'' He tried to turn a blind eye to her warning, while she still was around.

'' *sight* I hope so.'' she sighed in defeat. ''And I'm not little!''
